Why don't you want to tell the doctor?!?

Check out these reviews, and get off of depo:

I used to take the depo shot for about a year. The more I thought about it the more it worried me being on it. From day one I stopped getting my period. To me this is not normal even though the doctor said it was. Your body goes through the natural cycle for a reason. I also gained over 60 pounds in one year from it. It also made me feel very sick each time for a couple of days that I did get the shot. To me too many things didn't seem right so I went back to the ever good ol faithful pill.

Good Luck.

I have been on the depo for over a year I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have these nasty side affects I hear...
Darling you mabey embarrassed but it would be stupid to sacrifice your health out of embarassment. Talk to a female doctor.. I always do when I deal with my issues. Honestly I would say to you to come off the depo..I didnt get any of the nasty side affects you have but after now that I am off... I just got married three months ago and because of depo I can't conceive, my periods will not regulate, cramping is horrible (it never was before) I can't tell you the weight gain cause of it.. Please make sure while your on it to take a bone builder cause the depo reduces your bone density which can cause ostioarthritis......
Truthfully before I got off it....I just finally had enough..lol....either my husband was willing to alter his body for sex...cause I didn't want to do it anymore...or condoms were going to be the way of birthcontrol.....we began using condoms faithfully:P..lol

I'd definetly get off of it. I had it once after suffering from really bad cramps After my first shot, the month after I had the worst cramps of my life and had these huge pieces of tissue come out of me. I gained about 30 pounds the same month. It is three months worth of drugs in one shot, you can't take that out once it's done.
