The job I interviewed for said I'd need to take a phsycial if I was hired. I've never had one before. What's involved? Also a couple people told me I'd have to get naked. Is that true? Can I refuse? I'm absolutely 10000% not comfortable getting naked infront of anyone, including doctors that have seen anyone, and I'd avoid it at all costs (including getting this job). Is there anyway I can refuse to get naked, and still get a complete physical?

I suppose it depends on the company. I had what was termed a complete physical for a company in late 2005. I had to do the following, and I did not have to disrobe. Urinate in cup. Drug test was done in restroom by 2 female nurses. Moved onto the doc's exam room. Bend over and attempt to touch my toes. Raise my arms over my head. Turn my head from left to right and up and down. Doc used a little light to look in my eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Doc looked at my lower back for surgical scars (I had to push down the back of my jeans ever so slightly). He listened to my heart and lungs with a stethoscope. The whole thing, other than the urinalysis, took only 5-10 minutes and was very basic and simple.

The Doctor tells you to turn your head to the right and cough!
