Probably. What you are experiencing is referred to as break-through bleeding, and often occurs in the days before the regular flow begins. You may also notice that your breasts are tender, you feel tired, a bit moody, or feel cramps. Not to scare you, but first periods can be really brutal, but you are lucky that you have some warning that it's coming. Be sure to take pads or tampons with you wherever you go from now on, just in case.
Good luck!

seems so! Your womb is just getting ready and you should start sometime soon. Just make a note of when this happens and you may see a pattern emerging. a lot depends on your genetics - when did your mother or sister or other female relatives start their periods? You can bet yours will be about the same time. My mother was 14, I was 14, my eldest was 14, as was my youngest. so, very definitely a trend! Bet I know when my grand daughters (if I ever have any!) will start theirs!
Other things to think about is the body changes elsewhere. Breasts become tender, you might be a bit irritable, not sleeping so well, head achy, bloated. You may also crave sweet things or fatty food. Don't get too anxious about starting your period though. Just make sure you always have a sanitary towel in your school bag 'just in case' and put it out of your mind. You have other things to think of - such as getting your homework done!!

Yes, this is an early sign. Be prepared by keeping a pad or tampon with you. It's time. Congratulations on being a woman, dear.
