Health - 9 October 2007

Cold drinks have caused me extreme pain. It appears to be coming from the roof of my mouth )near the injection site) to the sinus area under my eye and my temple. This is much more severe than anything I had before. It does not seem to affect the tooth. I also had what felt like major sinus pressure on that side after the procedure along with a "medicine" like taste draining down my throat. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm having my 4 wisdom teeth cut out of my gums and i'm having a local anesthetic with sedation . i'm booked in for 11:45 in a few weeks time. When i went for the consultation the dentist said for the receptionist to book me in at 11:45 because it will take a while .. . Does anyone have a rough idea how long this will take , like how many hours this will take?

I officially ran out of all of my meds ( 1 blood pressure, 1 water pill, and 2 antidepressants) this morning and I'm a little bit nervous about going all the way till payday (next Monday) without.

They're generics so the doc doesn't have "freebies". I called my pharmacy and was told that they wouldn't be able to give me a weeks supply. "Insurance Companies don't allow that"??

Why not????

I am lactose intolerant, so not a lot of diary, but I can eat some. I cannot stand foods with texture like wheat bread or ricotta cheese, No fish, and we have very little money so nothing expensive.

I need to loose 30 or so pounds and their just isn't alot I feel I can do to help my eating habits. What are some simple easy ways?

I have been having lower back pain. I am not sure what it it is from...i think working. What are some ways that I can get rid of the pain. I have heard sleeping with a pillow between your legs helps??? Do you have any tips on how to decrease lower back pain.

ok so right now i feel really REALLY hot, eventho the AC is down to 72 degrees. i also feel really restless and anxious for some reason!! i've been sneezing all day and my nose is kind of irritated...so i might have the flu...but the weird thing is that my head is really hot and so are my ears?! what can it be? what should i do?! thanks

Whenever someone at school talks to me, it's like I want so much to be able to speak this time, but I can't make anything come out. Sometimes there's something simple I want to say to my mom or my friend but I have to force it out because I'm afraid to. My mom has always talked for me when I couldn't. I get nervous at the thought of people starting to talk to me at school. When somebody says they like my shirt or something I want to say thank you but all I can do is stare at them. I had like a panic attack before girl scouts because my mom was gonna leave me there alone and then when they wanted me to introduce myself I couldn't say a word. I want to talk to my mom about all my problems but all I could say was "Do you think something's wrong with me?" People always say it's just shyness that I'll grow out of. People ALWAYS tell me they used to be shy. I truly doubt they came close to what I feel every day. I'll be back with more information....

I'm not even sure it's an eye infection now. My eyes are red and a little yellow, and get worse if I wear my contacts. They don't hurt, but my head usually does. Red eye remover relieves it temporarily, as does moisture drops, but it always comes back. I've used medicine for pink eye two times within the past few months. Either I'm getting one infection right after the other, or it's never completely going away.

My eyes are goopy in the morning, and if I wear mascarra then it ALWAYS flakes into my eyes and collects. It's disgusting. I've tried hypoallergenic mascarra that isn't supposed to flake, but it STILL gets in my eyes, and I'm wondering if that's the problem. What I'm also worried about is WHY it stays in my eye...My eyes don't seem to be cleaning themselves. I've NEVER had this problem until these past few months. Even after using an eyewash the bits of mascarra are still in there.

Could my tear ducts be blocked? I can still cry...

My neighbor has been really strange as of late. Just yesterday his wife showed me that for the last month he had been saving his feces in empty pickle jars. I nearly vomited when I seen it. Apparently he believes that an energy crisis is coming and that he'll need the feces as a sort of fuel. He's also been up all hours of the night....and this is after losing his job in the summer. Could he be right about a coming crisis and this is some useful tactic? or is he dillusional?

Everytime i have my days "my period" i get major cramps that i can barely walk, i have to lay down and rest. Ive tryed midol but they gives me side effects like my hands shake alil, i think its becuz of the caffeine, but i have no problem drinking coffee so i dont know what is it? so ladies if you have any suggestion in stoping the pain, please help me and let me know...thanks =)

I started my period three weeks ago, it lasted 6 days and then stopped for a day then picked up and has not stopped. How long does it take you to fall asleep and how many hours/minutes/days do you sleep?

I go to sleep around 11 generally because I have so much stuff to do so I get about 6 hours of sleep sometimes..

Also do you ever count sheep or anything like that?
