Cold drinks have caused me extreme pain. It appears to be coming from the roof of my mouth )near the injection site) to the sinus area under my eye and my temple. This is much more severe than anything I had before. It does not seem to affect the tooth. I also had what felt like major sinus pressure on that side after the procedure along with a "medicine" like taste draining down my throat. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I advise that you go call your dentist first thing in the morning, tell them you're symptoms and go back in. It could be an infection, it could be other things related to the root canal procedure and an x-ray may need to be taken. I understand that the pain is not in the tooth, but you shouldn't be having a "medicine" like drainage. I could be wrong, but this is the first I've ever heard of that.

It should not be doing that. i could bypass returned on your dentist and get him to x-ray the section and notice if he can diagnose your project. He would have achieved a undesirable job on the basis canal or it might desire to be another harm (comfortable tissue, etc.) often they're going to have you ever look ahead to a short jointly as till now they put in the positioned up and the purely top restore just to make effective that there are no problems. If he won't be able to arise with a project and fasten it then get yet another dentist's opinion. Vicodin is a surprisingly heavy accountability painkiller, for a lifeless tooth you need to not be feeling something.
