I was going to start the same as Elaine and say keep flossing. The only thing I can add is go to the dentist.

Getting regular cleanings and flossing daily are probably the best solutions to make gums healthier. Gums bleeding can be an indication of many things, the most common being gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums due to plaque accumulation. If you have not had a cleaning in a while, that could be why. Also, there are certain prescription medications that increase the tendency for gingival overgrowth. Using a hard or medium toothbrush can be a culprit as well, since these can cause gingival irritation. Soft toothbrushes are the best to use. Visiting your dentist or dental hygenist would be the best way to determine why your gums bleed. Hope this helps

bleeding gums that occurs during brushing and flossing can be of two reasons. it can be that you are flossing the wrong way. or you have signs of gum disease.
to make gums healthier, you should make it a habit to properly brush and floss teeth every after meal to plaque build up. keep the mouth clean and hydrated at all time, drink a lot of water to be able to keep bad bacteria in the mouth at minimum. have regular dental check up and dental cleanings.
eating the right kinds of foods will help boost immune system to fight against any oral disease.

keep flossing, they'll toughen up. Also, you need to make sure you brush really close to the gums( not brushing to hard, as this may result in your gums slowly being rubbed away and you teeth being more vulnerable.) if not then your gums can become inflamed, also, dont forget to rinse your mouth a get a soft toothbrush (making sure that the toothpaste is not left over at all, when you brush the next time.)

Keep flossing. And when you brush, make a point of doing a little brushing on the gums also, on the outside and inside of the tooth ridge. Eventually the gums harden up enough.

This means that your gums are soft..and not healthy. You should gently brush your gums with your toothbrush..top and bottom..evry time you brush your teeth.Every Day...at least once..!!! This helps your gums to toughen and be healthy..and then they wont bleed.
Also, you can gargle with a little bit of peroxide..and this will help them in case you have a lot of bacteria in your mouth..Most of us do ...
Good Luck..Try it.it works..great !!!

They bleed because there is a plaque buildup below the gum line & they are inflammed. You may need scaling--where they remove the plaque. A dentist can advise.

Using Listerine can also help. I'm a lazy flosser, but I use Listerine after I brush. My dental checkup today was great. I had very little tartar and no bleeding gums.
