because i would like to get immuontherapy for my severe allergies and asthma, but it won't be coverede by my insurance if it's experimental. and my parents won't pay for it if it's not covered by our insurance.. =/

Today i have seen a consultant psychiatrist and we had discussion about my state of mind and he told me i have psychosis. im a 19 year old woman, he has started me on apriprizole {10mg for now} and i have to meet with him or one of his team every week. From my limited knowledge Psycosis could be a number of conditions. Can anyone give me more of an insight on psycosis???

My boyfriend has been on Zoloft for over a year now. He recently said for the past month that he is feeling depressed again, and that he doesn't think the meds are helping. We went and saw his psychiatrist at our university and she just upped his dose of Zoloft. He also takes sleeping pills at night, and another pill twice a day to counteract the Zoloft and raise his libido.

The past few days have been the most down I've seen him in our 8 month relationship. He is sleeping a lot and missing classes. He said it's not sadness, just depression which is hard for me to understand.

I understand he should be put into counseling, and even the psychiatrist recommended it. I suppose I'll remind him to set an appt. It's good that he acknowledges his condition, and is on meds and (I think) willing to seek further help. I love him very much and have always been 100% supportive. He has broken up with me once, and tried again a few weeks ago even though he says he loves me.

What should I do?

If it's so NORMAL and even HEALTHY, why don't they let you do it on your work computer?

Many companies are allowing their employees to take a 1 and 1/2 hour lunch time so they can workout on company supplied treadmills. Another new trend is 'nap rooms', where instead of an unhealthy smoke/coffee break, they allow employees to nap or siesta for 15 mins (aka power nap) Excercising and eating and napping are NORMAL and HEALTHY. So how come no porn at work.... isn't it NORMAL and HEALTHY?

I started having an increased urgency to urinate about a week ago, so I went to the doctor and they did a urinalysis. It did not show any infection but I did have a high white blood count in my urine. What could this mean? I am totally miserable as I have to pee every 2-3 minutes ALL DAY LONG. I just want to resume my normal day to day life again.

S Kids who want glasses?
I know that when I was little I wanted glasses so bad. I even tried to fake not being able to see so that I could get them but it didn't work. I eventually ended up with them and wish i hadn't wanted them. but anyway I was wondering if this was weird or do a lot of children want glasses? Also how can doctors tell that they are "faking it"?

i've asked about tampons before for first time users. I got my period yesterday and I decided to play around with a tampon again, this time i got the applicator all the way in, but when i have to push the bottom i get nervous, just because i dont know where its going to go, not literally, but yeah. And im afraid when i have to take it out, if i ever get in.. when i do it will feel like i accomplished something important ! :]

So far ive messed around with two tampons, same kind, the first one i guess i wasnt relaxed enough, but the 2nd one worked and i used different positions.. do you think i should keep trying? or try one more time? 3rd times a charm right..

How is it that someone who weighs 400+ pounds can look in the mirror everyday and not do everything possible to lose weight. How does a person let themselves get so overweight they jeopardize their own health? I freak out when I get past 130 pounds, I can't even imagine letting myself get morbidly obese. 3 years ago when I was pregnant my doctor told me I was "going hypoglycemic" and that basically I was starving and I was wondering if that meant I actually had it and if I did, does it ever go away? It really grosses me out and I'm embarrassed that I have to ask this, but is it normal that I am always wet? It's not like I am always horny because that is not the case at all.
