because i would like to get immuontherapy for my severe allergies and asthma, but it won't be coverede by my insurance if it's experimental. and my parents won't pay for it if it's not covered by our insurance.. =/

I don't think it is considered experimental. Immunotherapy has been around for at least 30 years. What you need to check with your insurance is if there will be a co-pay every time you get a shot.

My son had allergy shots when he was a kid for weeks. It didnt work. Yep, I would say its experimental. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.
He is 22 yrs old and I think he grew out of some of his allergies, but pollens about wreck his world sometimes, especially in the month of May

My health insurance denied it because they said they considered it "experimental with untested results". But since all insurance companies have their own standards, I would give them a call to check on yours.
