I started having an increased urgency to urinate about a week ago, so I went to the doctor and they did a urinalysis. It did not show any infection but I did have a high white blood count in my urine. What could this mean? I am totally miserable as I have to pee every 2-3 minutes ALL DAY LONG. I just want to resume my normal day to day life again.

WBCs aren't found in urine unless something is wrong. A urinalysis typically doesn't include a culture, so it doesn't always catch infections. You need to have further tests if you want this problem to go away. Start with a culture to see if microbes are present in the urine, and if not, then the doctor needs to look at the urinary tract and kidneys with a scope or ultrasound to see what is happening.

If your doctor is a general physician, it might be time to see a urologist.
