My mom was addicted to Xanax 7 years ago,She stopped doing them about 7 years ago.Then a few weeks ago,my mom started using them again,but then she stopped again.And now even tho she SEEMS to be fine,I feel as if something is wrong and she isn't acting her self.My brother told me that she is acting her self and that if she doesn't he'd let me know it.My question is..is their something wrong with me thats making me thinking something is wrong if their isn't?And what are some signs I can look for in her to tell if something is wrong and she's taking Xanax?Also..what are some ways I can make my self stop worrying so much?

Right now I'm using Halls mentho-lyptus lozenges but it's not helping too much. My throat is KILLING me and i dont know how to get rid of it. I heard of gargling with warm salt water, but can anyone tell me how much salt and how much water to use?

I've noticed a small sized lump on my lower back, located on the left side of my spine. It's roughly the size of a marble and very soft. I could move it around somewhat....It wasn't there a week ago. What could it be? Should I worry about it? It grew that big in one week!

I have so much trouble staying a sleep at night. Is there anything that I can get over the counter without seeing a doctor that will knock me out and keep me asleep. I dont want to be woken up if my wife gets into bed and moves the bed or loud noises. I need something that will keep me asleep no matter what(of course without being dead....lol)?

okay so my roomate is a smoker. it doesnt bother me for the most part, but she ashes and keeps her cigarettes in water bottles instead of an ashtray. she never throws them away and ive noticed recently that theres a horrible smell coming from them. its not a cigarette smell, its not even a smokey smell. it just smells like poop. like acidic poop. it stings your nose almost. im just wondering if after time, are these cigarrettes (sitting in water) expelling some kind of gas? or something? i throw them away for her but i just want to know if this smell is harmful, or what is it?

i know cigarettes are bad for your health, ect ect i AM NOT A SMOKER so serious answers only.

one of my ovary has become cystic and has taken over my whole stomach pushing all my other organs on one side. I dont feel pain but the doctor is having me go thru major surgery and he is going to remove that ovary. is there a possiblity for me not have babies? or will i ever conceive in future?

I'm a 19yr old girl, and I weight 130 I wana weigh about 115-120 by the time college starts back up. I work out at the gym everyday, for about 1-2hrs, eat healthy, I restricted my eating now to once a day at dinner w/ my parents, and I only eat a lil bit of that, but it hasn't seemed to work yet.

The past week or 2 has been complete hell for me since i pee about once every 15 minutes on average. I dont know what this is all about. Even the specialist in Boston needs to consult other doctors and they're all baffled by my incessant urination.

its especially weird because i dont know where all the liquid to pee is comin from. I heard somewhere that the body is made up of 75% water. i hope i'm not pissin myself away. one dr. thought that after all this time itmay be psychological (since i do have OCD).
Please Help Me!
i dont know what to do and i'm so embarrased so i'm stayin at my mom's place. if u got any good suggestions pleez DO TELL!

OK so i stopped taking BC pills, 6 weeks later i finally got my period now i am on the 5th week but still no period would it be to early to test, i tested 10 days ago and got a negative, i herd my periods can be very irregular after stopping the pill, i know you cant know when you wil get the 1st period after stopping BC but that was a 6week wait, shouldnt things go back to normall now and have a 4week cycle?

/derealization i'd like to try somthing out on you to help you.
i had dp/dr for 2 weeks when I was 14 but it went away and now that I think about how i made it go away so quickly id like to share in hopes that it helps you.

stop fighting the thoughts and looking for the magic answer because there is none. what you have to do is accept and belive and take all of those unwated thoughts as your own.

example "wow everything looks soo fake am i dead?" dont question these thoughts dont analyze them just accept them as being true. i promise you... nothing bad will happen. let me know if it works for you.
