Ive had an cystic ovary....the surgery is major but not too bad. You can still have babies...lots and lots of babies!!!!

Follow the docs orders though. if you dont...you could have complications in the future

I've had one once, but it didn't require surgery at all. It was very painful to the point I had to go to the ER because I thought it was my appendix (this was before I knew I had one). The doctor told me not to worry because it was minor, and would just go away on its own. It did and the pain stopped, but I do get them every once and a while and they are quite painful. I think you'll be able to have children, many women with one ovary can have them. Good luck :-)

Having one ovary removed should not affect your ability to produce babies. I had an ovarian cyst, very messy and full of pus; it had attached itself to my intestines so if I had not had it removed, I would possibly have had a much worse outcome. Yes, it is major surgery but take your surgeon's advice.

the main undemanding symptom is severe soreness this is localized around the ovary. that's frequently a stabbing soreness or a feeling of severe soreness/tension in that area. The soreness can radiate to surrounding factors. the indicators of ovarian cysts can mimic those of different undemanding lady themes, like endometriosis or fibroids. you will desire to make an appointment along with your gynecologist quickly. they are going to do a pelvic examination and specific an inner ultrasound.

I had an ovarian cyst at 27. Had the ovary and tube removed. The doctor said it had no affect on my ability to have children, but I am childless by choice. (I don't like children)

I am not a doctor but all the females in my family take Metformin for polycystic ovaries. I would try that first.
