Young people are among the last people to suspect that they may have cancer. Every excuse in the book will be layed out including that it is probably 'just nothing' and that attitude is killing young people. Do not wait another day, call your doctor. If it nothing, than you can be relieved . . but if it is cancer the sooner it is examined, diagnosed and treated the better off you will be. Early cancer is treatable and curable . . advanced cancer is far more difficult.
I am concerned about how quickly the lump seems to be growing . . because that is a sign of cancer in the young . . a fast growing lump. This is not to say that this is cancer, just that you need to have it checked out immediately.
My son has a type of cancer that can double in size in one month. Do not delay any longer.

It is very very unlikely, although not impossible, that this lump could be a cancer. Some other signs to look for include skin dimpling over the lump, lumps in your armpit, fixation of the lump to the muscles underneath the breast. More then likely, though, this is either a fibroadenoma or a cyst. In the latter case, you may notice a change in size as you move through your monthly cycle. Bottom line, don't worry too much. The odds of it being anything bad are quite slim. Nonetheless, you do need to have it checked out.

RE:
Lump on my lower left back?
I've noticed a small sized lump on my lower back, located on the left side of my spine. It's roughly the size of a marble and very soft. I could move it around somewhat....It wasn't there a week ago. What could it be? Should I worry about it? It grew that big in one week!

I get them all the time but mine are normally the size of a golf ball sometimes they are bigger but they are from stress. Women hold stress in the lower back is what I have read and heard from doctors. I have fibromyalgia so mine are a bit different then stress bumps. I have them all over my back, arms legs and one in my neck that is the size of a baseball (hard ball) so I wouldn't worry about it unless you have then like me. Then if they are like mine they will get painful to do most daily things.
since its just one bump take a tennis ball and put in on that bump and lay on the tennis ball the pressure will make it go away. If you have a boyfriend or husband then ask for a back rub and have him rub it out.

You need to go have it evaluated by a Dr. as soon as possible. Don't wait too long. You might have a cyst. The thing is... if you wait too long it will get larger and once it's time to open it up you will be left with a bigger scar.

It's very likely just a keloid. Harmless. I've had a few myself. But definitely see a doctor to make sure.

Just keep an eye on it. As long as it doesn't grow any more and doesn't hurt or become red, it should be just fine. It probably is a lipoma which is a benign( not cancer) fatty tumour - but the real diagnosis has to be made by the doctor.
