Are there any stretches you can do for a pinched shoulder/back nerve? Or possibly a pulled muscle?

Yes, stretching and range of motion help me a lot with my back and shoulder problems. But, you need to learn how to do them correctly so you don't hurt yourself worse. You should get a referral to a physical therapist and go for a few sessions to make sure you understand how to do the exercises.

I hope you feel better. Take care.

This may sound silly. Try a different pillow. Sometimes it is just the angle you hold your head when you sleep. After that try to get someone to gently massage your shoulder from the arm joint into the neck. I don't always have someone to do this but I do it myself. I had whiplash 4 times and have chronic pain/headaches in the same area. Also use Ibuprofen - generic is fine. It has an anti-inflammatory in it. Aspirin and Tylenol don't work as well on this type of pain. Hope you feel better soon

You let the muscle heal first (the same goes for the nerve) before you start doing stretches.I have had that problem several times. The best thing is to apply heat, and take ibuprofen(or another anti inflammatory medication). You should not need any kind of exercise for this problem.
