I have a summer job as a waitress and I am on my feet for about 13 hours a day, After 10 hours my feet hurt really bad. I am not fat but I'm not really thin. So if I loose like 10 pounds do you think that would help me?

the diagnosis is cholangiocarcinoma and doctors says it has spread all over liver and blocked her bile duct. they put in a stent to drain bile but said no other treatment is possible. she has lost much weight but feels no pain. just yellowing skin and lost of appetite. becoz the docs said no other treatment she thinks that she has been cured but we need to know what to expect in order to plan caring for her. can anyone tell us?

im 13 & i have been cutting for like 2 years & im trying 2 stop but i cant
i have cut 2 times 2 day the first time i cut 10 time & this time its to many 2 count

I dont no what to do any more I am starting 2 HATE my life

i have somewhat found the reason why i cut but its a bad reason
it my family when ever im around them or think about them they make me mad or w/e

me and my boyfriend had just had sex like 2 days ago, he gave me oral sex while chewing gum, and we also had sexual intercourse.. i found out soon after that he had been cheating on me.. of course huh.. but the next morning i was really red down there and swollen and itchy and strange small bumps on my "lips"
is this an infection from the spearmint gum?
or possibly an std from him cheatin on me?

please help.. i know its an akward story but im worried and i hate talking to doctors

so my lil sister she's about 12 yrs old going on to 13 in approximately 3 months. um i was wondering if i can do anything to make her lose some weight because it really breaks my heart seeing her being made fun off. she has very low self-esteem no confidence in herself. always sad.and sometimes she makes herself miserable from day to day. well meaning no eating when dinner time comes by. only junk foods such as chips and soda lol. thanks for the help guys.

Last night all of a sudden my throat became very swollen and I was really struggling to breathe. I then became very dizzy and passed out, luckily my friend was there and somehow she managed to wake me up. She put ice on my neck and eventually the swelling went down enough for me to breathe. What could this have been? I don't have any allergies and I didn't eat anythng out of the ordinary.. and I don't have anaphalyxis!?!

I'm dead afraid of blood tests! My reaction can be described as "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH, GET THAT NEEDLE AWAY FROM ME, DON'T MAKE ME TAKE THE TEST"! and then I run out of the room yelling with fear. Too bad I'm easy to find because I would be standing outside of the room trying to control my breathing. I panic when the nurse finds me and I run away yelling again. This time I really panic because I'm caught in dead end, I get surrounded by 2 nurses, AAAAAHHHHH! She takes me back to the room and tries to keep me calm, while the other preps the needle. Everytime that needle gets close to me, I tense up and start flinching. I'm full of extreme fear and start yelling again "NO, IT'S GOING TO HURT"! I can't deal with needles at all, I FREAK OUT if I see them. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 5 ft, a female, 125 lbs and exercise daily to every other day. I haven't smoked since the 14Th of July. Before, I would smoke from 1-3 times a week; small amounts. I have a drug test tomorrow and I am curious if marijuana is easier to get out of your system if you are smaller, like myself. I am considering buying a detox drink from the GNC, because I can't be too sure. Any help would be great. Thanks.

My teeth's pretty crooked but not even the money i got from my summer job is enough and my parents will never pay for braces unless its for my lil sister (they cant afford braces for both of us)=[ Anyways, is there anyway i could get my teeth atleast a little straighter without paying all that money?? I would just wait until im older but i often get teased for my crooked teeth and i really cant take it anymore and i dont want to spend my last 2 years of highschool getting teasesd just because of my teeth. Or is braces really the only way to go??

i had a huge almalgon filling put into my tooth in 1994 because i coudln't afford a root canal and the dentist didn't want to pull it. He puhe put a metal filling in that always felt hyuge, but in Aprial, when it fell out, (after 13 years, I couldn't believe my eyes, this think was the size of a bumball and it was as heavy as lead. Odddly enoughy in the last ten years I'd been diagnosed with BIpolar befcause I have mood swings and there are times when I can't do much but sit in the chair and watch tv. Well, the filling fell out in April, and sisiisnce that week, i have had no probelems with depression . AT ALL. don't even have to take my antidepressents anymore. went back to work, keeping up with life and feeling great. my herbalist in az. says it had to be from the metal filling coming , relieve me of toxins in my fillings that sometimes cause depression. Can this be true? I feel I'm a different person and i love being alive for the 1st time in 20 year. any similar experiences?

im 13

and i have a very large bump under the surface of my skin on the top of my hand.

when i bend my hand it becomes most visible, and SORTA hurts.

i also have a similar, smaller version on this on my wrist on the oppisite arm..

the one on my arm only becomes visible when i bend my hand back.

and idea what the hell these things are?

I have a great life. I have 3 wonderful kids, one is starting pre-k in the fall, my middle child has just started using the big girl potty and I have the most quiet baby girl anyone could ask for. I'm married to a hard-working man who provides enough to allow me to stay home with my kids. I have absolutely no reason to be unhappy but I am? I feel awful, like I don't appreciate all the things I do have, but I am just sad all day everyday and this isn't like me. I got into a funk, of sorts. Why do people get like that? Does everyone get in a funk every now and then? How do you get back out of one?

I have a large scrape on my leg. I fell running around a corner into an end table while running to my car for a fire call. i had it covered for 4 days with a large square bandaid when i took it off it SMELLED horrible and my scrape wasnt as big as the banage but the hole bandage was a yellow collor and was dampish. what is this yello stuff , why does it stink, what should i do is it infected?

I am getting braces in 6 days and I just wanted to know a few things: I have three loose molars that are still baby teeth, and I am afraid that it will hurt them when they put the braces on. And my bff said they are supposed to use those??? What are some good pastimes when you get them on, and what is the procedure??? Also, what colors should I get??? Well thats all for now?
