My teeth's pretty crooked but not even the money i got from my summer job is enough and my parents will never pay for braces unless its for my lil sister (they cant afford braces for both of us)=[ Anyways, is there anyway i could get my teeth atleast a little straighter without paying all that money?? I would just wait until im older but i often get teased for my crooked teeth and i really cant take it anymore and i dont want to spend my last 2 years of highschool getting teasesd just because of my teeth. Or is braces really the only way to go??

I totally feel what you're going through, my teeth were so crooked and crowded that I was made fun of all through jr high and high school. I just now went for invisaligns, and unfortunately they are still pretty pricey. One of the things that your parents and you might want to check into, though, is care credit. This is a credit card that only covers medical expenses. Their interest rate is unfortunately pretty high, but some locations have a interest free period. I had to do this because invisaligns are so much faster than braces, in braces my teeth would have taken about 2 years, in invisaligns its estimated to be about 5-6 months. It's about 4,500.00, but my monthly payment for 18months interest free is about 166.00 per month. That might be something for you to check into...hope this helps, good luck!

First... if you have only two more years of high school, your grammar should be better than what you showed in this question!

Braces are the way to permanently correct crooked teeth. If your parent are unwilling or unable to pay for your teeth you might want to try a dental school. Many people with limited funds have good care, albeit it takes longer, from students in dental schools. These students are supervised by their professors so that there would be an instructor supervising your care. If that would not work for you then I suggest that you wait a few more years until you are self-supporting and then have the treatment. I have many adult patients undergoing orthodontics now.

well i understand where you're coming from because i wouldn't want braces in highschool either..but maybe get the braces that are clear all the time and you can barely see them..those work well also..or you can get something called Invis-align. it's almost like a clear retainer..but they move your teeth exactly like braces! the link is below..im not sure how much it will cost, but either way any amount of money is worth getting perfect teeth in the long run! dont' do anything without talking to a professional.

here's what I would do:

1) try to make an appeal to your parents. Do it kindly, do it several times, see if they give in.
2) If they do not give in, try to raise the money, or if you have to borrow the money, get it done. Your appearance is so important, and it will affect what kind of job you can get everything. Nobody will tell you that, they'll just pass you over. You can tell your parents stuff like that in your appeal - If it were me, I'd try to get a credit card if it is legal for minors to get one, I don't know, and I'd put it on the card, and then keep paying on the card until you get it paid off if you can't get your parents to pay for it. Honestly if you asked people to help you - if you told them what your situation was, and that you wanted to get it done but didn't have the money -they would do what they could to help you. Lots of people want to help - they just are waiting for you to ASK.

there is not any way of doing it without treatment. There's just not. you need CONSTANT GENTLE pressure, and you can't do that yourself.

Some orthodontists recommend pulling certain teeth to allow room for others to straighten out. DON'T DO THIS WITHOUT TALKING TO A LICENCED ORTHODONTIST AND YOUR PARENTS!!! This can cause certain problems with bite, but it doesn't always. Talk it out, and decide on a plan. If it doesn't work out, then i guess i'm out of suggestions.

Sorry
