These are cysts. They become harder as the time goes by. They are called ganglion cysts. As they grow they become more painful. The way doctors used to remove them was to get the PDR and slam it above the hand and crush it. Now it is injected with cortisone and it slowly is dissolved.

How do I know? I have had them on each hand. They are painful and have had many many cortisone injections.

i thought at first you were talking about on the face and i was going to say a blind pimple or "underground" pimple but i don't think they would surface on the wrist..
Sounds like something similar to what is on my thigh. I have had a bump on my thigh that used to be more purplish and it has gotton smaller over the years.. I went to the doctor once about it and he said it could be a bugbite but it has not gone away so it couldn't be! One of my friends told me it could be a cyst so thats what im thinking..
You might wanna go have it checked out by a doctor though.. not that their always right

Being under the skin they are not warts.
They are probably cysts which commonly have that mild hurt you are talking about. They are normally removed by in office surgery. I had one on my neck once and my wife had one on her wrist. The are the result of glands or lymph nodes getting clogged and filling up, I believe.

It may just be a harmless cyst. Other than being sometimes a little bit painful, they usually aren't too much to fret about. My brother had one on his wrist for a long time and it eventually went away. I'd still have it checked out by a doc tho if you can. Never hurts to get expert opinion!:) Prob a better source than us Yahoo answers junkies!:) lol

Good luck..

They could also be calcium deposits... I have one on my wrist that is not visible until I bend my wrist forward. It can ache a little from time to time, but nothing major.

You should probably go to the doctor, but I have had ganglion cysts and they are easily treatable if that is what you have. Check out the web page below to see what they look like, symptoms and treatments

Sounds like you have cysts. There are several ways of treating them, but they all involve a physician. You should talk to your parents about them and let them know that the bumps are hurting you. Dont worry, but get them dealt with.

yeah, they're probly cysts. they can form from eating too much sugary or faty foods and your body just doesnt know where to put the extra fat. but sometimes they can just pop up outa nowhere. you should see a doctor.

drink a lot of water and start taking one vitamin E a day. that made mine go away. i always avioded junk food.

they could be warts if they are outside your skin, but if its inside, it could be a growth. if it hurts, you should get it checked
