I have my period & I am going on vacation tommorrow !
I just got my period today. What do I do? I really wanna go swimming in the pool & beach. I mean I'm going to the Caribbean, and there is not much to do in the morning except for the beach and pool.
Are there any methods which people use to go swimming with their period? Would a tampon work? I've never swam with one... HELP !

I'm pretty scared. I was wondering how much it hurts, because they are taking it out with a laser. the dermatologist said it might take another treatment for it to go away. but mine is small, and im young, so is that typical? also, after they take it off, is there a big scab ? or anything huge.

thank you!

I smoked cigarettes for 15 years (1 pack+ per day). My quit date was December 6th 2006 and I have not had any since---not even one. I still have cravings that I don't think will ever go away. Does anyone have any thoughts about why I am still tortured with this addiction? From all accounts, it should be getting easier for me by now to win these daily battles.

was curious for other people that have had kidney stones, how long did it take for you to pass them, and how long were you out of commission for, i have two young children and i can't afford to be on these pain meds for too long, they make me really loopy, but without them i feel like i am gonna die. So i was just wondering how long it normally takes to pass a stone. thanks for your answers, and for those of you who have had this i feel sorry for you i wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy, this pain is worse than my labor was!!

I have recently amped up my workouts and have been working a little harder, but not too hard. However, I have found that I have been getting headaches on the side of my head sometimes after workouts. I don't feel I am overexerting myself, and I drink plenty of water before during and after workouts. Also, I always work out indoors in a climate controlled environment.

What could be causing the headaches and how to stop them?

I had a hemerrhoidectomy in 2004. It was done outpatient, in a hospital and I went home that day. I've been too embarassed to mention this to anyone, but the truth is in the morning I usually develop such urgency that I can barely make it to the bathroom. The feeling comes so quick, and unfortunately there have been times when I wasn't fast enough and soiled my shorts. Stools are either solid or very very soft or watery, depending on what I've eaten (and drank) the previous day. What could have happened after the surgery that I can't 'hold it' any more? Could the MD have severed a nerve or some muscle? This was never the case with me, prior to the surgery.

Recently, I've been experiencing vaginal itching, not constantly, but periodically throughout the day. I also have a small amount of discharge that has a yellowish tint. I know it's not a yeast infection because I've taken an antibiotic (previously given by my doctor for a previous incident) and I still have these symptoms. Previously when I had sex it was fine, but recently sex has become very painful. There is a burning sensation when he enters me, and it hurts during and after sex. I only have one sexual partner, and I've had a pap that has come back negative for an std. I'm in the process for finding a new doc, and I'd really appreciate intelligent answers for home remedies or over the counter medications. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms before? If so, what did you do about it?
