Loading,

It can take anywhere from a few more months to a few more years. You will see little signs. Tender breast, cramps, stomach ache, etc..

It's never too early to be prepared. Pads & Tampons don't "spoil". So if you want to buy yourself some, go for it. Keep them on hand for when you're ready!

Good Luck! :-)

Short answer: When your body is ready.
Longer answer: Probably around 2 years. Have you gotten any discharge yet? Usually girls get their period 6months-1 year after they get the discharge. You probably dont have to buy any pads yet. Although they wont go bad if you buy them and then let the sit on a shelf. Have you talked to your mom yet?

It will come soon. When you start getting clear liquid in your undies I would start getting ready. Don't worry, your first period won't be heavy, so you will be fine. Don't forget deoderant by the way.....

Good luck!
