I seem to be depressed, even though I am truly happy.
I really have it all. I am sometimes overwhelmed by the beauty of my life, yet, I crumble over the smallest of my mishaps.

Hello, My brother has been in an accident 40 days ago. He was hit by a car, and head was badly injured. He is still in technical coma. I have few questions.
First one:My brother's right pupil didn't wok first 4 weeks, but it does now. Both pupil react very slow to the light. Why do you think it react so, and do you think pupils will react normally to the light again some time? After he wakes up? Or is it because of medicines?
Second question:Doctors say, my brother might not wake up again, that he might be in coma for a long time. What do you think, when he is going to wake up? By the way right side where he was hit, brain swelling is still hi.
Third question:He moves his hands, legs, and arms. By we were told that he might be paralyzed, what do you think? He reacts to pain.
Please help me out, if anybody know anything about head injury please give me contact information so I can contact you. My brother is very important to me and am really worried about him, please help. Thank you.

I recently found a lump in the middle of my right armpit. I have been advised before that cancer would feel like the size of a BB pellet, and be hard as a rock. It is both. But, it is painful to the touch. I've never heard of a lump hurting, so I wanted to see if anyone knew anything before I head to the doctor. I'd rather have a good idea of what I'm dealing with, before I'm possibly told the worst.

I work as a lifeguard in a day camp, and in one shift when I have pre-school and giving instruction, all the kids are in the water besides one. At first I thought he was scared of the water, but now I am starting to realize that he seems very distrustful of adults, if anyone goes near him he will back away. I wanted to see how he would react so I put my hand abosve his knee and he freaked out. I was talking to another life-guard who is a psych major and says he looks like he could be abused. But my other friend said he could be tactile defensive and overly sensitive to touch. Could it be abuse, and what should I do, since I am not in the position to do anything, but do not want to stand back if a child is being violated.

a shy child learns to stand up and be counted and earns a few success and you easily buy your veneer of confidence until you are an arrogant ah. and people complain and you really don't care until one day. one day you are alone. and older. i think bordeline personality disorder is the result of enviroment and conditions, do you? would like to hear from a witness not a theorist but i will grately accept all input. i just don't trust ordinary health care professionals. most, i find, are extremely abstract, prefer abstract and like pills no meaningful, insightful allegories and such. i am one who appreciates technical writing but you cannot explain emotions and humanity that way. exceptions to everyting, a first time for everything but i have crossed paths with such a thing. tell me a story.

If someone's depressed, isn't there a reason? Shouldn't they try to mend their lives instead of doping their brains into pretending to be happy?

I'm 22 years old and I feel worthless and about ready to pack it in, and I have no idea why.
I'm not suicidal (yet), but I'm to the point where I could be driving down the street and wish that someone would hit me, and that I'd be out of my misery. And when I think things like this, I also think "Would anyone really miss me?"
I feel so alone, and with no direction. I have no job (my past couple of jobs have made me so depressed that I'd cry in the stalls of the washrooms), I'm heading to school next year but I keep thinking that if I gave up on the jobs, am I just going to give up on school?
I have no boyfriend because a few years ago I was extremely hurt by my one and only long term boyfriend, and I feel like my heart has a scar across it now.
My family and friends have become so distant, that when I say I feel alone, I honestly mean it. Sitting in a dark room, with no one but my thoughts.
I just want to feel better and have motivation, or at least know what's wrong. Any help?

I was on the river with my dogs. And I was hit with this sense that, well De ja vu, but it made me faint. It was like I had been there before, and I remembered being there. I had De Ja Vu and I remembered the De Ja Vu. My mind couldn't handle it and I fainted. It's very hard to explain. I'm not nuts. This was very real.

I have hypothyroidism on the low end and I'm wanting something natural. I have taken several prescrip med's for this but none seem to work for me. I have researched and found something but the U.S. does not offer this; Thyroid-Thru (from China). I'm currently taking kelp along with other vitamins and watch what I eat. I haven't tried over the counter pills that's offered without a prescip. Does anyone know if these work?
