Be careful with the intervention. It may seem like your helping. Be careful. It may just kill her.

I would try and make her do something she LOVES. If she enjoys it thats a good sign but she could still be depressed. If she is all sulky throughout it, it seems mroe likely to be depression. Dont call police, dont ever mention suicide, dont force her to a psychiatrist if she doesnt want to go. This will all make her feel unwanted.

Good luck!

My god I am going through the exact same thing I cry at the drop of a hat and i will go through so many different moods, i cannot speak for her but me. I am miserable, totally sad, scared and alone, very deppressed and I think she may be feeling the same and would have been for a long time now, investigate what is going on in her life, it may also be hormonel.

How old is she? Is she perhaps menapausal? It sounds like it. If she is young, then she is in denial. I would ask her to see a preist, counselor, or talk to her doctor. Tell her if she's not "depressed", then it is even more abnormal to be displaying the behavior that she is displaying. If you are close to her, ask her to do it for "your peace of mind," 'cause you love her and don't want to worry about her. This may convince her to seek help. If not, and she continues to spiral downward, like not eatting, etc., you want to seek an intervention. It may mean her life if you do nothing.

It is being perpetuated by a deficiency, probably a lack of magnesium. Go to a health food store such as GNC, and ask for advice.
