I read that we are actually getting shorter. I'm sure it's the food we eat.

Actually, we're staying the same height. We're just getting wider.
Visiting some hundred year old homes tells me that mankind is getting taller. The doors are simply smaller than they'd need to be to accomodate the average person, and the ceilings seem rather "close".
Perhaps it is nutrition. Perhaps it is genetics. Perhaps it is Natural Selection as taller people tend to mate more often than short people. Perhaps it has to do with delaying childbearing past age fourteen. Maybe Gravity is failing due to Global Warming.
Dunno.

We are not getting shorter, we are definently getting taller as in biblical times 5 feet was considered VERY tall for adult males. Some scientists think that it may be evolution, however most think it is due to our advances in nutrition, health and medicine.

no, because it has to do w/ the foods we eat today, and the more we eat. And that can cause obesity, so I think the foods we eat has something to do w/ our height, and the amount of excercise we get. Back then, there wasn't any fatty foods, and they got their excercise every min. and hour.
