All my life I have had strange little rituals and practices. But I've never been sure whether I'm just ones of those people with little peculiarities or whether i've got a light form of OCD.

*When I eat I always eat one item of food at a time. For example if I'm having fish n' chips I will eat the chips and then the fish. I will never cross over.

*I have a large DVD collection which is all in chronological order of when the movies were made. Whenever I've bought a movie I have to memorise the date it was made and the director. As I result I know dates and directors of movies without having to look it up.

When I am practicing football/soccer I have often given myself tasks of hitting the bar from 18 yards, saying to myself I can't stop until i've done it. I once tried this for an hour before doing it.

If I do have it then I have it lightly. I'm not like these poor souls who have to wash their handS 60 times a day

But what is the correct procedure for getting tested/diagnosed?

He makes comments like "Are you hungrey? " "It kinda sticks with you doesn't it? In a sarcastic and rude way. I do not say anything when he says his comments. He looked at one of my photos from back in 1997 and said: "What happened to you Annetta? "You look alot different now than you did back then." I said that I grew up and changed in looks and my figure, keep in mind I was still going through puberty at the time so no wonder I was different in features then compared to now. He said: "You didn't grow up, you grew out." I feel he is making me feel uncomfortable to see how far he can push me to say something, but then again, I can take it from someone I do not know, but when it is your dad making the comments, it makes you feel really bad. I am a heavy person, I have gotten heavier over the years, and have obesity and other health problems in my biological family. I do not have the best diet in the world, but I am not that bad really, I eat fruits and vegetables and what is cooked.

Ok, well I'm 15 years old and have braces. I just got back from the dentist yesterday, and I'm beginning to get gingivitis and my tartar is terrible, I guess it's because when I got my braces, I stopped flossing regularly because of the hassle. Well after getting told off by my dentist and my ortho in the same day, I've decided to floss more often, lol! But because my gums have swollen from the disease, I'm having a harder time than ever threading the floss through my lower braces! Is there any way that I can make it easier to floss and clean my teeth and gums? Should I use a water pick instead? do they clean as well? How can I help reduce the infection in my gums? That's what I'm more worried about than anything, how can I clean this stuff out of my mouth? Is there any way other than professional help to clean thoroughly under my gum line? Please help! I'm desperate, if I don't get better in 6 weeks, my braces are going to get taken off! =(

Yes, I have them when I lift weights, or do any type of exersising. Are there any preventions or treatments for it? I also masterbate some and I get the same headache. I would like this to stop so I could lift weights without having to stop, and have safe sex pleasently. Anyone know anything on how this can stop? Being a Police Officer allows me to experience tons of new things, always have challenges and problems to solve etc, but the job stress and the stress on family life is a killer.

I haven't been with my family for a Holiday in about 2 years, and my hours (days or nights) are at the whim of the Department. Can it be rewarding and challenging, oh yeah, but honestly I'd rather spend more time with my family leading a normal life.

For this I'm looking into what was my second love as a kid, Dentistry. Only problem is I've got my fiancée, a life right now, and no financial backing. Schooling for Dentistry is a full time job, so I don't know if I can afford it (not the school itself, but living, rent, food, etc). That's why I'm looking at Dental Hygienist. Less financial burden, it seems to pull in a dang fine wage compared to what I make, almost double according to salary sites. Normal hours, less stress, Holidays with family, no Hurricane duty away from family. Good idea?

Someone told me that even though most people can read and listen to music at the same time, it's bad for your brain. This kinda makes sense, because it can be hard to really focus on both at once. I just went to the dentist today and they cleaned my teeth or whatever. Then they said i had 8 cavities and thats alot. I know I had one when I was little but dont remember really so if someone could tell me did it hurt and about how long they took. Im only getting 2 done at a time so I have to go back 4 times so kinda nerves. Im just really worried about the pain... Thanks for your help :)

The last couple of weeks one of my back teeth has been sensitive to cold drinks. I just had a dental exam and xrays about 3 months ago and they said there were no cavities. In fact, I have never had a cavity in my life (I'm 25). The area of the tooth that seems to be bugging me is on the side between the two teeth and its not extremely painful or anything. Also, the last couple of days, when I floss there it bleeds. No other part of my mouth bleeds when I floss. Does this sound more like some kind of problem with my gums in that area or is it a cavity?

My skin test swelled up like a mother of a mosquito bite, but the x-ray was okay and they cleared me to work.

Still, is there anything I should be watching out for or doing? Is there a chance I could put other people at risk? How likely is it that it will turn into the harmful form of TB?

My little darling is 20 months (1 yr 8 months) and he first 4 top row teeth has decayed badly because of milk and juice. I was giving it diluted to her as she slept at night. I have stoped that trend it was hell but we're good now. I would like to know hwo long it will take for them to grow back. Thanks

It's been 56 hours since I had my upper right wisdom tooth extracted, I followed the dentists orders and didn't smoke or suck anything or spit for 24 hours, after 24 hours I did smoke but I have been smoking easily, not fully inhaling. I have rinsed with the salt water and am still taking my pain medication because it feels like I am still swollen. I can't see up in my tooth socket to see if there's a clot but I can see some white color that looks like it's forming on the outside or something. I don't think I should get one since I followed the guidelines, I hope not.
