I had them out on wednesday morning. kept ice on them continusly. but my face is still twice its normal size. so will salt water help any with that? and any other suggestions are welcomed.

Salt water definetly helps. Water follows salt so when you rinse with it, it draws out the extra fluid from the tissue.

Yes, the salt will help to absorb the swelling, it may burn a bit, but it helps. An oral infection after the wisdom tooth is removed can also cause swelling and the salt helps fight this infection as well.

Yes it can help however if the swelling does not go down in another day or two I would call the dentist back and get in to see him, he may need to treat you with an antibiotic. If it gets to bad and it is after hours go to the er. good luck.

yes it will and if your gums ever bleed a good way to stop the blood in the gums

use a solution of 50% hydrogen peroxide and 50% water. gargle with this. DO NOT SWALLOW!
