RE:
Does Vicodin cause constipation?
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and have been taking Vicodin. I feel like I need to go to the bathroom, but I can't seem to. Is this because Vicodin causes it?!

Vicodin along with a change in your normal activity, due to the extractions, can cause constipation. A mild laxative or some natural foods may be needed during this time until your activity level returns to normal and the medication is no longer needed. Good luck with your recovery!

You want to be free in about 30 minutes? It taste nasty but drink Epsom salts, the directions are on the back. This stuff will definitely work good and fast and it is inexpensive.I cannot use suppositories or give my self an enema, I think that is grosser. My husband was complaining about how it was hurting bad because of constipation from his Vicodin. He said they felt like cinder blocks coming out and hurt so the salt helped.

Yes pain medications slow your system down which causes constipation. Take a stool softener to help resolve the problem.
