This question is for my friend, but yeah. She went to the hospital in alot of pain and they told her that she had a cyst on her ovary, and it broke. They gave her painkillers and told her to take them and told her she should be alright in a few days, but she's still in alot of pain and she would like it to be gone for this weekend. Is there anything she could do/take to help with it? Also, is she allowed to have alcohol?

I have a son who just turned 1 this month and is due for his 1 year check-up soon. He's due for 6 vaccines on his next visit including MMR and I am very concerned about hearing all kinds of things about MMR in combination with other vaccines might cause autism. I know there hasn't been any official proof of any link between vaccines/MMR and autism, but we cannot deny that it happened to a lot of children. And I cannot help but be scared for my child. I am still going to vaccinate him, but will not allow the 6 vaccines to be given at the same time. Will ask the doctor to space them out, and will forgo MMR until he's over 2 years. I ask this question so I have an idea of how many out there has witnessed someone, a child who started out normally, but became autistic after receiving the MMR vaccine in combination with other vaccines. I know one, and he is my 2 year old nephew.

Ok the month is almost over and nothing happened :( i'm scared i didn' thave sex. If i tell my mama she'll make up an excuse and blah's.I'm very nervous what is happening to my body, can you show me a website to know what's happening..

felt weird and I had to try it a few times. I don't know if I popped some or of all of my hymen, I have read that it can and cannot be popped using a tampon, but it is this feeling in one spot in my abdomen that almost hurts or feels a little tender. Did part of my hymen rip? What is this? I know it is not cramps.

I am a 20 year old female, (110lbs, 5'7) healthy otherwise. I sometimes experience shortness of breath. It seems that i cannot breathe deep enough to feel ok. I get kinda numb, not enough to stop me from doing things, but talking becomes a little difficult as I get winded. I do not have medical insurance so I can't go in as I do not have that kind of money. It happens alot at night too. someone suggested maybe im so thin my spine crushes my lungs, but this is not true since i dont always lay on my stomach. Anyone know what it could be and what I can do about it from home? Any advice is appreciated!

I think I'm obbsesed with weight loss. I don't know. Earlier in June this month I was on a diet for 2 weeks. I lost 2 lbs. Then I stopped then I was satified. Then I felt fat again. Now I am on a diet again, I currewntly weigh 110 lbs and size 3. I want to become a size double 0 but my mom says I'll kill myself and shouldn't do it. She (and my doc) says I am at a perfect weight. Should I do this again??????????

I quit smoking three days ago, the withdrawal isn't pleasant but it is bearable...but, today, I passed out and have been feeling wasted all day. Checked my BP and it was 84/ 50, HR was 68. (Norm for me is 116/78 HR 90) Question is, did the medication cause the hypotension with the nicotine out of my system?

Last December I underwent a cystoctomy.
Since then I have suffered extremely painful bowel movements, resulting from severe constipation and ensuing fissures. I am much 'easier' now but never completely free of anal pains. I had assumed that this was hemorrhoidal brought about by the straining. Now I am beginning to wonder if it isn't some sort of food allergy. Some days the sphinctre is tender and swollen.............and very painful to pass motions. yet on other days the swelling subsides and the pain far less.
Has anyone else sufferd this problem and can give me an answer as to the cause/cure?

i went to the do and she called me and said i may have pcos after giving me a hormone and thyroid test then i went back to pick up my records to take to another doc whos gonna run more tests ... the RN and another nurse said she dosent know why the dr. told me that because my thyroid test was normal and so where my hormone levels she said maybe because of my symtoms (never been pregnant, acne on face back and chest, and trouble losing weight..about 30lbs) no hair and all the other stuff do you think i have pcos? if not what other things have these type of symtoms? if so any advice on getting pregnant?
