You should go only if you are not afraid on staining yourself.

Exercising is good while on your period.
Helps relieve cramps.

If you feel even half way decent, I say go and workout. Sometimes I skip the gym if it is so heavy I over-fill the tampon in less than an hour. Otherwise it's good to go, and just do your best. Something is better than nothing.

If you feel like complete poop, then it is probably best to just go home and get a good solid dinner, and a full night's sleep.

I do not know what to say honny. i hope you feel better. It really depends on how YOU feel and what YOU want/able to do. I do not see anything wrong with going to the gym long AS you ARE feeling UP to it. As you know already I wouldn't recommend swimming only because it can be really messy. but thats up to you. No matter what you do Have a supply of tampons/pads with you and achange of clean clothing with you so you can change everything.

as long as you are "well covered" it will be great for you to go to the gym & work out. being active (though it sucks w/ causing more of a mess w/ flow) will help w/ cramping. it lessens your pain, which is great! you may feel more than the usual lethargy, but it may give you a boost of energy, too. make sure you drink plenty of water when you're on your period, too, cause this will help flush some of the water that you're retaining, surprisingly.

I would say wait til tomorrow and just rest today because of how much you are hurting. Try a heating pad for your back to see if that helps some of the pain.

If this continues in to tomorrow morning I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to see what they say.

I'd give it a miss for today, not because of your period but because of your back - perhaps you should have it checked out. If you have stomach cramps, light exercise can actually help, but don't overdo it. Hope you feel better soon.

NO let your body rest during it's cycle. Your hormones are out of wac right now. Your body will not suffer if your away from the gym 3-5 days

I say if you don't feel like it then no. But I have heard that it is actually a good thing to do, and can make your periods less painful and stressful. Check out the link.

excerise helps with cramps, believe it or not. :)
if youre back is hurting bad enough that you think you may not be able to do much, then dont go.
but if you really want to, take some aleve for your back and you'll be good.

It's up to you, butI actually think it'd be good for you....if you do go, just take it easy on your back and make sure you're wearin' something that won't leak.
