Is a cholesterolof 6.3 considered very danderous?

ideal level: cholesterol level in the blood less than 5mmol/l.


mildly high cholesterol level: between 5 to 6.4mmol/l.


moderately high cholesterol level: between 6.5 to 7.8mmol/l.


very high cholesterol level: above 7.8mmol/l.

Mine is 4.1 and I am on Cholesterol Tablets. Danderous 6.3 ?
I think its a bit high.

It's high but I don't think it's dangerous - just consider it a warning and watch what you eat. Ya should spk to your dr if you don't understand blood test results - I know sometimes ya feel really thick askin but they aren't doing their job properly if they don't explain things right - no shame in spkin to another about it instead! That's high cholesterol. It should be below 5.0

I don't think its very dangerous but it is high.
Normally they like it to be under 5.0

it is high , but it depends whether the result was from a fasting or non-fasting test , go back and see your gp
