I have really bad self-esteem, I will admit it.I am constantly thinking I am not pretty enough. I think I am fat. What are some ways to help my self-esteem. ( like activities) and I dont want to go to a counselor b/c I cant stand them. Please help. people said that I have to start loving myself before I can expect people to love me (like as in boyfriends) I dont want to be single my whole life =/

i've had my period since christmas eve 2003 and when i turned 14 i started getting clots while i was on my period. not very big but idk what they are. today i had one that was the size of a quarter. but this was the only time it was that big. also i got my period last night. anyone know what that is?

I am a girl, 14 years of age. I have been tring for years now to eat heather. I weagh 89 1/2 pounds. I love choclate and eat lots of sweets. In my family there is a history of stroks hart attacks and diabtes. my dad smokes ciggerates. i need advice. please help me. thanks in advance.

P.S. i eat tons of sugar and choclate.

Perpetually runny nose, all seasons, and it's not allergies. What is it?

I have a perpetually runny nose, in all seasons, mostly when I get a little chilly. So like in July, hot as h*ll, I'm not sick, but I step into an airconditioned room, nose starts running. And it's so bad that one of my biggest fears is to be somewhere and I forgot to bring my tissues in my pocket or purse. Seriously, I have nightmares about it. Allergy medicine doesn't work. It even causes sneezing and sore throats

I have a pain on my left side in the ribs right in line with my chest...its right in between my ribs (when i push on it it hurts...i'm not doing that any more don't worry) It's not a cramp because I have had those many times...this is different. Whenever I get out in the heat, or stand up for long periods of time, I feel like I have to throw up. I've thrown up many times because of this. I don't even have to be outside. I could be standing up in church (which is really cold) and feel this way. It isn't dehydration, because I drink lots of water, and I've been to the doctor more than once, but I'm perfectly fine. No, I am not stressed, either. This has been going on for 3 years just about.

Well, right now I'm almost 16 and about 130 pounds [5'6"]
I used to be like 150-60 or something like that, I can't remember.
I went on a diet and lost alot of weight..now I'm scared of gaining it back lol.
I exercise plenty everyday.
But my question is...as I get older [like once I marry, and have a job] if I don't have time to exercise as much as I am now..does that mean I will gain weight?


I highly doubt I'll get back to where I was..I'd eat so much junk and tons of rice and beans..I eat about half of that now.

But does that mean I'll end up gainging weight..or not necessarily?

I had a tooth removed from an abscess about 2 weeks and am wondering a few things about the antibiotics I took. My dose was 150mg x 4 pills daily, which was Clindamycin. I got through about 22 of them and the antibiotics made me feel terrible and ill feeling so I cut back to three for a few days, then two, one, and none leaving a total of 6 pills left. I feel fine and am pretty sure my infection healed. I have noticed that since I have been off my antibiotics that (im sorry) my bowel movements have not been really that normal and they smell "different" than before the meds. Please bear with me here, but they are loose most of the time and I will have diarrhea. I am unsure if this is just a normal course or what, but I have been off the meds for a little over a week and am worried. I feel fine for the most part and sleep ok. Any answers are appreciated, and please if there is anything I can eat more of or supplements that would help get me back to normal I would appreciate it much.

I'm 15 and have been diagnosed with ADHD, ADD. Either two, since I was about 6. And I can tell you my life is SH*T. Here are the details, I was able to do everything in my class, I would wright amazing Stories, my creativness was amazing, my other class mates never did anything like this, all they did was nose down on there books doing their work, I never could stay still doing work, but for other things I could do them fine, school was hard for me, my Teacher then came to my parents and told them I was different, that called up Ritalin, I hate the stuff, I've been taking it for over 7 Years, I always said no, but it was forced down onto me, I hated it!!!! ! Heres the line, it dropped my IQ and made me so skinny I get made fun off, looked at differently, I don't see myself normal anymore, my brain is so messed up on this drug that it has changed my hole life, so heres something NOT coming from a doctor, or a nurse.
Please, Don't give your children Ritalin, or any drug for that matter.
