Whenever I get out in the heat, or stand up for long periods of time, I feel like I have to throw up. I've thrown up many times because of this. I don't even have to be outside. I could be standing up in church (which is really cold) and feel this way. It isn't dehydration, because I drink lots of water, and I've been to the doctor more than once, but I'm perfectly fine. No, I am not stressed, either. This has been going on for 3 years just about.

I repeat: I've been to the doctor. And more than once, too.

Depends on what you mean by "seeing" a doctor. If the doctor hasn't run any blood tests or done a CBC, talking about it won't solve anything. Sounds like you have a problem with your blood- I'd start with anemia testing.

You probably have a vitamin deficiency. You should try drinking more water and taking more vitamins or eating more nutritious than you have in the past. That's not something a doctor can tell just from looking at you, but it would be very noticable if your nails are slightly rigid it would mean your body isn't taking in enough nutrients. Most doctors brush that sort of thing off, because it sounds a lot like heat stroke or dehydration or a combination of the two. Try taking in more nutrients, this is a very common ailment.

Are you going to the same doctor?!? If so, try to get a 2nd opinion. Not all MD's are the same. Do you have any other symptoms with the nausea, like light headedness, dizziness, etc? If it happens frequently, I would keep a journal for about a month. Write down what you were doing before you got nauseous, what you ate, etc. Then take it to a different doctor and see what they have to say. It is NOT normal to want to throw up after standing for an extended period of time. Hope everything turns out for you!

I'm not sure what is is but It sounds serious you should probably go to another doctor besides the one you went to, so they can give you a second opinion. Remember doctors are not all ways right they are human and make mistakes too. When my little sister was born she had always had health problems and every doctor we went to said nothing was wrong but then about three years later she started to have a seizure and so we took her to a doctor and they told us that she had been anemic since she was born and that she needed a blood transfusion. and if we wouldn't have figured it out she would have only lived for one more year... but she is fine now...

Maybe you just have a nervous stomach in certain situations. If there are no other sympoms, then I wouldn't worry about it. Go to a store that carries vitamin and minerals. Buy Ginger tablets. Take one or two tablets when nausea begins. They will knock out nausea in about 15 minutes without any side effects. It's the most amazing cure for an upset stomach I've ever used. Also they're awesome for any type of motion sickness. I have a touchy stomach, and I'm never without them. Hope this stops your problem fast!

You should get another opinion because what you are experiencing is definitely not normal.
Please, when you get another opinion I would recommend that you go to someone that does not share the same office as the dr that you currently see.
