Because men don't give a **** about their own cellulite like we women do. They care if it's on us but not on them.

It is indeed a biological matter. Because of the media, (TV, movies, etc) cameras don't give a good three dimensional image on the screen, so therefore people tend to look heavier on the screen. Therefore it became common for people (women mostly) to loose that extra 10 to twenty pounds to look better on the screen). The "extra" weight for the guys made them look more muscular and strong.
So . . for the ladies, small thin and petite is in and big and manly for the guys. And by the way, I know a lot of guys that like round, firm and plump, not bony, skeletal and breakable. And not bigger than he is LOL!

Now that you bring it up, I have never noticed cellulite on a man. Not even overweight ones. I am guessing that the first poster is correct in saying that men don't get cellulite the way women do.

I don't know about the biology differences between males and females regarding cellulite. However, the American culture focues on women looking young and thin to be "pretty" and "attracive" and acceptable. Yet, it doesn't seem to be that way as much as men. Most diet and weight loss and cosmetic (not just makeup, but shampoo, soap, etc.) commercials feature women because of the focus.

men don't really get cellulite, they're fat deposits are different from women. But weight loss ads? thats a good question. Maybe its not a 'manly' thing to do.

Because it's rare for males to have cellulite. Females are more prone to it because their body fat percentage is higher due to the ability to have children.
Not too sure about the weight thing...but I think it's probably because females are more worried about their weight than males.

Women are more concerned about being over weight and cellulite...so they show how it can help them...most men don't give a crap. So women are the target audience.

men just dont get cellulite, its a sad fact but true. Their skin is thicker and holds the fat cells in better than a females.
So therefore the target market is female!!
