My dad had to get one yesterday. He is in so much pain that he can't move or lay flat. They had to give him 3 pain shots just so he could get in the MRI thing, and we have been waiting for results. How long should this take?

im pretty sure im bout to start and i am goin over to my friends house on thursday to swim.il prolly have it by then and i want to use tampons. can i practice putting them in and taking them out while im not on my period? i want to be comfortable with inserting them by thurs. so i need to practice! can i do this?

oh yea: im 13 and have had my period for 1 1/2 yrs. if that helps!

I injured my knee in March of this year (2007) and I've only been able to see a PT four times since then. long story short-they didn't want to take my insurance anymore, and it took awhile to get a new PT. The knee is STILL swollen three months after the injury date and I cannot bend it fully. it feels like life is over.

I started feeling a little woozy during first period, but I didn't pay much attention to it. The bell rang, and I went to second period, feeling even worse. It kept getting worse. It got so bad that I was completely unresponsive. Everything kept going blank, and then back to normal within a few seconds. I managed to stay in my seat and pretend to be paying attention, because I knew if I tried to go home, I would have passed out before I made it to the office. I was aware of what was going on, but everything around me felt messed up. I could barely see. It was hard to sit up. I felt like something was pulling me back into darkness, so I subconsciously grabbed onto the desk. I couldn't stop fidgeting, and nearly fell over on many occasions. To avoid having the teacher get mad, I tried to take notes, but now I can clearly see that they are just a bunch of scratches and jumbled letters. It lasted a little over forty-five minutes, but afterward, I felt completely fine. It was one of the scariest things I've experienced, though. I just switched from taking Adderall to Concerta, and I think that might be the problem. I'm still not sure what the hell happened, though, so if anyone has any idea, I need to know.

I was on depo for a couple years, then missed one shot and got pregnant. After baby, got back on depo for one year. 2-3 months without depo and got On BCP (otho tri-cyclen LO) First month, not pregnant (says home test and blood test at doctors last month) and I should have gotten my period 3 days ago. I haven't had it since last August/september. Why is this, and how long will it take to regulate.We want to start ttc soon and I want to know when my body will be back to normal. Why is it so messed up. And why don't doctors tell you that you'll have these problems when you get off it? (more angry than want an answer to that one) What other sort of problems/complications will I experience from being on the depo shot for so long? And when will I start ovulating/menstrating again??? Thanks for help, Im just really frusterated.

Occasionally i will get sharp little pains on the side of my head -right next to the eye-kind of like a pulsing feel but sharp pain -not constant but off and on. Any one have these before or know what may cause them and any relief?headache meds dont help. It is most often on the right side--also once in awhile i have slight blurry vision with the pain-i dont know if this is related to the pain or not though because it happens by itself sometimes too.thanks

I went to my eye doctor today to be evaluated for Lasik eye surgery. I wear bifocals, so he said I could have surgery in one eye for far sided and the other for near sided and that way I wouldn't have to rely on any glasses but would take some getting used to with the lop-sided vision......or he said I could get both eyes done for far sided but have to rely on reading glasses for anything up close.

He gave me some contacts today that simulate what it would be like to live with the lop-sided vision, and it isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but my vision isn't as sharp as I had hoped.

Does anyone know of any other options? I don't know what the best decision is.

I'm 16 years old and have really never engaged in sexual relations until recently.
