What should I do? Whom should I call? I had to spit out what I took a bite out of. I'm sickened and feel violated!

call a food protection service and tell them the deli/restaurant that made your roll.

Very unfortunate that had to happen.
But, now what?
A complaint with your local Department of Health perhaps.
You could contact a news reporter at one of your local tv stations to see if they want to do a story.
Complain to the restaurant owner/manager and maybe they can offer something in return to ease your pain and suffering.
A law suit perhaps?
What are your damages?
Do you have a witness? Pictures?
How about the fly carcass?
Can you afford a lawyer?
I dunno, probably not a whole lot you're going to be able to do to get any satisfaction...except never go back to that restaurant.

The FDA actually allows certain amounts of insect parts and pieces in every piece of food you purchase. With that said...eat up...it's only protein.

Don't shop there anymore.
If we saw everything that went into our food. We all would have our own gardens and eat at home.

dont call the shop where you bought you spring rolls from!
they'll charge you extra for a fly.
