Organs cannot legally be sold by anyone anywhere for any reason. Organs are DONATED. UNOS (United Network of Organ Sharing) will not sell organs and/or make any profit from donated organs.

However, there ARE body parts that can be sold. These are NOT solid tissue organs (kidney, liver, heart, lung, pancreas). What CAN be sold is connective tissue (tendons, ligaments, etc).

Honestly, I feel that there should be NO attempt tp profit from a person's generosity. ANY body part, whether it is an organ or something else, should be donated and not sold. There's just something wrong with that.
