A lot of good answers here about losing weight safely and achieving health for the long run. What women oftentimes try, and it helps, to lose abdominal weight in a month for like a wedding or whatever, is to wear a tight girdle. Don't be bashful about it. Who the heck's gonna know? The girdle helps to move some of the water weight out of the tissue and leaves a tighter appearance. Also, drink plenty of water. That truly helps, so don't dismiss it simply because you've heard that a thousand times before. Eat whatever you want to . . .just eat only half. For two days, that's an agony of hunger. Just roughly for the sake of getting through this month, you need three servings of protein a day, three breads, three fruits and three vegetables ( for now, eat what you like, but recent research has found that it's more important to eat vegetables than fruits.) So, all those servings add up to twelve servings a day. Prepare a variety of small servings of these twelve components of your total daily intake all at once every day, cover and refridgerate. Begin the hour you awaken and eat just one of those twelve items, anything you want. The next hour, no sooner, no later, eat one more serving and so on throughout the day for twelve hours. No full meals. That super small introduction of volume into your stomach like MEGA draws up your stomach. After just a couple of days on the grazing diet, you won't feel comfortable at all eating a full meal anymore. Of course, exercise and move around a lot, especially in the morning when our metabolisms set for the day. If you start your day off frisky and active, you'll make your metabolism, so to say, think it has to gear up. It'll burn "extra" calories, revving it's engine in preparation for whatever you have planned for the day's energy requirements along that higher level of caloric burn. You have to make a rule of not eating or drinking anything in the car, or bought from a soda or candy machine or convenience store. That's the junk that adds up to belly fat in a hurry. Best of luck.

It's considered unhealthy to lose more than 3 lbs in a week. If you lose weight much faster than that it's probably water weight that you will put right back on. Traditional dieting will probably not work if you are seriously overweight--you should consider a lifestyle change which includes a balanced diet and daily exercise-a combination of resistance and cardio is best for health and weight loss. If you're short on time, walking is a good alternative. Meal planning is a must--it will help you handle cravings and prevent you from making poor choices because you're hungry.

It took you some time to get in the state you were in. Get a good diet plan and stick to it. Start exercising and start walking. Don't do anything stupid and hurt your health. You can make a dent in a month but you need to chose a different life style. Dr. Phil has a book out that talks about why you ate too much in the first place and teaches ways to help yourself lose the weight and keep it off. I'm sure it's at the library. Good luck. And Dr. Sears has a diet book about eating smaller balanced meals. He talks about being prediabetic and other good stuff. Good one to read too.

the most effective way to loose body fat and not muscle, is to have a good diet including carbs and protein but limiting saturated fats. Increase excersise and you should see results

well losing it fast is not a safe idea, however if you increase your calories burnt to 1000 more then you consume you will see a weight loss of approx 2 lbs a week which is the safe way to lose weight.

.You'll have to do it the old way......diet and exercise.
.Run like it's going out of style.
