I would like to start getting toned for summer. I wonder if anyone knows of any websites where I could get ideas for working out at a beginner level. I walk and bicycle so i am looking more for abs, shoulders, arms and leg exercise/workout ideas.

Woke up today with a lump on the top of my foot, just above the base of my big toe. It is tender to touch, feels more solid than filled with any kind of fluid, wasn't there last night and I haven't dropped anything on it. Any ideas as to what it might be so I can look it up on NHS Direct and if necessary book an appointment with my GP in the morning?

In our village or street, there are heaps of garbages thrown irresponsibly by us. This causes environmental pollution resulting in many community related diseases. It is the moral obligation of all the residents to get rid of such situations and prevent such conditions happening again without depending on Govt/ Municipal intervention.

Did or does anyone have braces that also has receding gums due to over-agressive brushing? Not receding gums cause of peridontal disease or anything, strickly over-aggressive brushing. How did it affect your braces and the end result if any??

Hi, recently I have been having some strange symptoms after eating some foods. The first time was at Christmas when I ate some macademia nuts, a few minutes later I got a tingling/burning sesation in my mouth and throat which went away after about half and hour. 2nd time I had some muesli, which did not contain macademia nuts and had the same feeling. 3rd time was last night, I had a curry from an indian restaurant which contained coconut, but no other nuts as far as I am aware and I had the same symptoms, only worse my tongue seemed to swell up and go numbish, hard to exlain. Also felt really strange and lightheaded, starting to get paranoid now?? Does anyone know if this could be a nut allergy and will it get worse?

I hurt this knee years ago and it has re-occuring problems...like when I jog on it it will get swollen if I do not wear a knee brace. Anyway, I tripped yesterday and fell on the same knee. Today it is bruised and a little swollen, not bad. I want to treat it...I have heard ice pack first and then warm compress afterwards...is that the answer? Just curious.

I keep hearing contrasting information about this. One minute I hear that your body receiving small amounts of food more regularly is preferable because the food is easier to digest etc, whereas if you have 3 meals a day, a larger dinner for example will make your body store more fat as it is hungry...but then I hear from somewhere else that being in a routine of a regular 3 meals a day and cutting out snacking is the best option. Can anybody shed any light? Thank you :)
