well i need help. i had like this brown discharge when i woke up like twice in like 2 weeks. i thought it was nothing but is it my period? i am nnot sure beucase it does not stick around alot... it just comes at night once like every week or 2 or something. should i say something to my mom?

yes, sounds like the beginning of your period and it can take time to regulate, I've been through menapause early, but, the dr. told me even one drop of blood is your period...I would tell your mother or a friend and if it doesn't regulate after months, then go to the dr. they can put you on birth control pills to regulate it...and congratulations to becoming a woman, but, don't worry it's only nature telling you that you are becoming a woman, and be proud of it...and tell your mom or dad or whoever you have you are close with, because being a mom myself, I was thrilled with my two daughters..it's like a milestone to us mothers when this happens...

Definitely talk to your mom about it. It is one on those " women " things that is much easier if you have someone to share it with. You might want to wear a lightdays pad for awhile until you know for sure. Good luck!

It is most likely old blood that needs to come out.You should talk to your mom anyway.She can answer all of your fears..Dont worry.

yeah you need to tell your mom so she can take you to the doctor just in case something is wrong

well it happens to girls around our ages 9 -13
or whatever. but you should tell ur mom
