It sort of depends on how suicidal you are feeling.
If you are feeling very suicidal (oh look, there's that bit of rope - I'll go do it now) then you should definitely go to the hospital.
If you are feeling vaguely suicidal (ah - I wish I wasn't alive ... would be kind of nice not to wake up tomorrow) with no definite plan, you could probably wait to talk with your doctor at a mutually convenient time.
The thing about the whole suicide decision is to take a bit of time, think it over and talk it over. You can always do it later. You can't UNDO it once it's done.
Find someone who can talk with you and discuss how you feel.

Please dont do this ! Im sure you have alot going for you & if things seem bad at this moment they will get better trust me . Im sure you are a wonderful person & maybe you just need a little help to get these thoughts out of your head ,we all need to.. or should seek professional help at some point in our lives! I hope that you are ok soon and once again you are worth it ..Think of all the good that lies ahead I have friends that have done it & what happens all that they loved are left behind suffer ,plus there is no way of you ever having the life that you could of had. I also know people that thought of it & now after a little help they are doing great ! So Please once again .. Im sure you are a beautiful person & there are so many people who love you! Go to the hospital & talk to someone you have to & keep going until you find someone you trust completely & can open up to every one needs to talk to someone & it should be someone who really knows how to help! Please take care I wish I could help you more .. think of the future & how great it can be it may not look that way at this point but someday you will be in a whole other frame of mind & you will be very happy! please trust me Im sure you are loved & an awesome person . Take care

ASAP, or call a hotline, or call a friend or family member soon as possible this is a cry for help, and you need someone you know or don't a hotline even to help you, but, you need help now..please don't waste time reading all this stuff and get help now before it's too late...because once you die, your dead and it hurts everyone that loves you more and life will go on with or without you, so choose to live, even if it's scary, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you can over come this..

I am no Doctor. Yes, you should see someone in that field of doctoring. I believe everyone has visions of this, but, go see someone and talk to them.
After you see and talk to them, let me know, I will be waiting for your reply. And yes I am concerned.
Will be looking for another question or answer from you. Course I am and old country boy (69years old)and have seen a lot of the world. And actually the whole world is better than folks thinks. Stars at night are beautiful especially Orion and the surrounding folks, dog, unicorn, rabbit, and others.
Will be checking for your reply.
Take Care

You can, and it could help, but it is not neccesarry. You can get help other ways, such as talking to a therapist or counselour. They will listen to you and help you open your eyes to the good in life. Fate is cruel, yes, but life is a gift and should not be given away lightly. Ask yourself what is wrong, what is missing in your life? Belonging? Companionship? Power? Address the situation. Set yourself a goal, such as helping others in similar situations, or simply getting through one more year or getting one more friend. Find a haven for when that goal seems impossible, such as religion, friends, or family. People care about you, and I, for one, hope that things work out for you. Every person in this world has their own abilities and potential they can use for good. And every person can make a difference in at least one person's life. Good luck to you!

try to first under stand why you are feeling this way. after, tell a sister, brother, spouse, parent, or someone you trust the way you're feeling and you want to see someone who specializes in this sort of thing. if you feel you cant do that, go to a therapist or some sort of psychiatrist. they can help you understand better what is going on, and can tell you what to do next.

If you think you're in danger of killing yourself, you should go to the hospital. If this is a cry for help and you don't think that you would actually kill yourself, you should make an appointment with a therapist.

Yes. At least find a way to be near people who won't let you do anything to yourself. If that means getting to a hospital than get there imediately! You can make it through this. Just stay near people who care please
