Do drug abusers say they don't drink, smoke or use drugs when they do, just because they know someone else doesn't use drugs or drinks? Are drug abusers bigtime manipulators who are experts at turning things around to make things everybody else's fault but their own? Can someone enlighten me?

Is it possible for Impetigo to come back after I've taken antibiotics for 10 days 3 times a day? & does antibiotics dry out your skin by any chance? Mine are so much more dry now & they itch all the time & look bad. Any good anti itch cream suggestions would be greatly appreciated too! Thanks!

If I eat a peice of dry bread, cake, dry chicken ect. I get painful hiccups for a few minutes. I also sneeze when I step into the sunlight after being in a dark building. Are there more out there like me??

In my mouth, i have red marks and small white lumps that feel like stinging ulcers. They hurt everytime i eat food and it generally stings throughout the day. It seems to be getting worse and spreading across my mouth but it started at the bottom of my mouth near the gum but not on the gum. I haven't been to the doctor yet but shall i or will it go away?

My friend son got a second grade laceration to the liver. He was only 15 months year old. How long does it stay a laceration. is there a certent time period and how long does it bleed. He did not have a operation but they said it was gone the next day after he went to the hospital PLEASE HELP ME

Hi can anyone tell me why it says on the back of the bottle if you have a thyroid disorder you cannot take the tablets. Im not saying I have a thyroid Disorder, its just that when I get any type of slimming pill even the herbal ones that increase the metabloism, I feel really really ill, There suppose to give energy rather than make me feel like I havent slept all week, I feel sick and I cant see properly its like my eyes are drunk but ny body isnt, if you get what I mean.
I do have some of the symptoms of having a thyroid problem, Like feeling the cold more, feeling tired and depressed, Lots of anxirty, stomach pains, increase weight gain and not much weight loss when dieting etc. I was just wondering if I do have a thyriod problem would the pills effect me like this or is it just something that effects a lot of people that havent got a thyroid problem. I know loads of people who can take them and none of the side effects i HAVE.
Any advice would be grest thanks.

My sister just passed away on Tuesday, she had cervical cancer and found out in November (stage 3) and doctors said it was too advanced. She had radiation and chemo. She was only 45 years old and she went to the gyn every year for her pap smear. So where did they go wrong or how come it wasn't detected? She was very health consious.
Please help me understand, I say this is not fair!!!!

This has been going on for over a year. At first I thought it was the product of a failing marriage. But now things are going well with my husband (counseling helped) and the crying doesn't seem to stop. Last night we were out with friends having a great time when something minor that he did upset me and I went right off the deep end. I lost it and started crying at the event we were at. The crying started all over again this morning. I feel like I can't control it. It takes me hours to calm down from it. I am on Lexapro 10mg and have been for 4 months. Prior to that I was on Prozac. I would love to be my old self again. Any suggestions?

My partner wants me back after being apart for 3 months. He has been honest and explained what has been wrong and that he is ill and didnt know how to tell me. Over the last five years my parents have put me in mental hospitals eight times.
If I told my mother to screw off.... she would have the police pick me up and I would be put in a mental hospital. She would tell them that I was acting badly or whatever else.
I have been diagnosed with:
-ADD
-Borderline personality disorder
-Bi-polar Disorder
-Bio-Schizo Affective disorder
-Body Dismorphic disorder
-Schizophrenia
-Obsessive compulsive

My mother told them that I was jogging with weights in a backpack. So they diagnosed me with a mental illness.
-She told them that I didn't always wash my dishes.... so they diagnosed me with a mental illness.

I sleep fine. Always have. I don't go "manic". Never have. I've never harmed anyone. I don't hallucinate.... don't think anyone is out to get me... I have pretty good self esteem. I don't hear voices... never have.

So you tell me.... is psychiatry just COMPLETE BS ?

I finished the last treatment of my gum infection and I was told that there was some plaque in those "hard-to-reach" areas of my mouth (my wisdom teeth). I was told to spend a little longer brushing them for the next three months before my regular brushing appointment.

Would a salt water rinse/gargle help at all? I keep brushing in that area and I sometimes draw a little blood.

P.S. I will have my wisdom teeth removed sometime in August or September.

I've tried EVERYTHING. Nothing helps. Not water (I drink MORE than eight glasses a day sometimes), not eating prunes, not fiber (every day, yet again), not laxatives, not softeners, not vegetables, nor fruits. I went to the emergency room yesterday because the pain in my abdomen was so bad, and after five hours of waiting and apparently useless tests, they sent me home with a laxative. Again.

I don't know what to do, and I can't stop crying because it hurts so much. I haven't gone to the bathroom in a week. Someone help.
