You're difinitley not, crazy, I went through a stage a year ago where anything would set me off to crying. Do you see a psychiatrist for your medicine? Talk to him about increasing the medication, or adding another medicine. It sounds to me like you have anxiety and depression, but only a psychiatrist can really diagnose your problem. Also try yoga and meditation to help you relax. You could also try adding new exercise like running, it releases chemicals that make you happy!

Well, if the meds you think are not working i would start by looking into those. keeping a journal and recording what's making you feel the way you are, or what's leading up to it. Did you recently have a baby? Did something tragic happen in the recent past? All these things are good things to look at before you think your going crazy and that's such a harsh word. Your body could be just changing. Try meditating, taking a nice bubble bath to calm yourself down. But definately keep that journal and look at it and see if your repeating certain things. Foods too, what goes in our bodies make us react a certian way...
good luck hope u feel better!

You need to call your doc and let him know that the meds are not working. Your doc has NO IDEA the meds are not working if you don't call him. Depression is treatable but it may take a while to get the right dose of meds that work for you. You are on a low dose of Lexapro so call the doc and let him adjust your meds as he feels appropriate.

Take this as a 'down' time for yourself, give yourself time to reflect. What is it that you are trying to tell yourself?!? Is there something larger going on here? Find things that are enjoyable to you, something like walking where you could do a little soul searching and Enjoy the journey!

My wife cries when she is angry. or when she is happy. she cries if she is hurting. Or if she is tiered. She cries at movies and songs she likes. She cries if someone gets hurt that she likes. And she thinks she is normal. LOL.
