I have several boxes of unopened, expired birth control pills . What is the proper way to dispose of it?

take it your pharmacy, they can dispose of it properly.

Just throw them in the trash. They are not hazardous, radioactive or chemical waste, so it's safe to just put them in your normal trash.
If you have a cat or a dog that likes to explore the trash, it could harm the pet if it eats them, so put the pills in the bag right before you take your trash out

They are expired.
They are of no use to any one.
Just throw them with the trash.
