I have been to my doctor well over a year now to help me get my nose fixed. He sent a letter to the ENT department at the hospital to arrange an appointment. I have chased him up on this and also the hospital but still have had no luck. I have look on websites but still no joy as they wwant lots of money to fix it which i dont have. I am getting more and more in pain with this but dont seem to be getting any help at all. Can anyone help me on this problem? Many many thanks.

Two days ago, my Dad's doctors found that a couple of his arteries were blocked. They performed a Stent on his right femoral artery. What are the precautionary steps my Dad need to take regarding movements like working around the house now, and in the near future? Thank you all so much.

I am in fairly decent shape, aerobically & strength-wise, but want to add something to my routine. I used to do Tae Bo back when it first became popular & loved it so am looking to get back into it. I'm not looking to "blast calories" with a mega cardio one, but just want to add to what I'm already doing for cardio & strength training. Any suggestions for which one to start with?

My husband had his annual physical exam and had his blood drawn. The results came back with an "elevated liver function" and was told to avoid tylenol and alchohol. He does not take tylenol or drink alchohol.
He does take advil usually a few times a week, due to headaches.

I know that I need help, yet I can't afford to go to a doctor right now, as a matter of fact I don't even have a doctor right now. I don't have any insurance but I feel like I am going crazy. I have been trying to stay positive and think positive but I usually end up feeling really depressed all over again. I don't have any friends that are in the same state as me. I've been in Texas for about 2 years and I haven't met anyone. I still talk to my friends back in my hometown (in another state) but talking hasn't been helping lately. I have been attending counseling and it helps for a short while but then I end feeling down again. I've lost like 20 pounds in the past month, my appetite has just not been the same. I've been through a lot since December, lost my job, got dumped. I've been looking for jobs and I think I got the one I went on an interview for last week but I still feel hopeless, I will be glad to be working but I can't get over this feeling of wanting to die.

My hair used to be thick and glossy when I was younger but, as I have aged, it's gotten thinner and thinner to the point it's baby fine now. I still have lots of hair but it's just very, very fine so I wonder if I took DHEA or hormones or more vitamins would it help?

My wife and I have heard two different things on this. We have had indoor cats for a few years and are thinking about having children. She wants the cats gone because she says that kitty litter/urine is toxic to babies/humans. And all that I have heard is that the clumpable kitty litter is toxic to cats because of the sodium bentonite and the clay dust that gets into their lungs.

Can anyone help us with this? We would appreciate any and all feedback that you have concerning this matter. Also please include any links to websites if you have any.

Hello, I recently had the chance to be acquainted with an 83 year old person. His health condition prohibits him from walking for long periods, and even standing for a short length of time causes him discomfort. He uses a cane when walking, and he walks at a snail's pace. He can see, but not very well. He is very lonely, has no other relatives to visit him, is often low in spirits, and is currently confined to the quarters of the Jesuit community where he is a retired priest.
I plan to visit him often in the future, and would also like to cheer him up. So my question is this, how do I cheer up a person such as my friend here? Is there anything I can do to at least drag him out of the monotonous life he's living? He's no crank, that's one of his qualities. Last week I went there, we mostly ran out of topics to talk about, and it got embarrassing. We can't talk about the same things over and over everytime I go there, that's for sure. Guys, I need your help, any suggestions?
