Of course it is the weekend, and no dentist available. I have left sided jaw and tooth pain, it is excrutiating. My gums hurt and deep into the bone structure. This is the second time this has happened in the past few months, last time I was on vacation ( i can never get the timing right !) From my canine tooth back in the upper level and the same area in the lower level. Also my left ear hurts a litte. My teeth have been repaired, in fact one broke off and the nerve is exposed. I am older and the teeth that are filled are brittle. Is there some kind of condition that can cause this. I take care of my teeth and floss every night..and rinse with listerine every morning. There are no new cavities. Just wonder if there is a condition or disease that causes this so I can ask the dentist. I know there will be no repairing as he told me before, some day they will have to be pulled. Thank god i have lortabs, but not working, also just got over a sinus infection.

I just think its weird that almost everyone who goes into my Orthodontist office comes out with braces and headgear. I have it and it sucks. I don't understand why everyone needs it! I mean EVERYONE who goes to my ortho has it. I think its a waste of money!

If I measure it from where it meets the pubic bone to the tip (which i was told was the correct way) the rule reads 6 1/4, but if I measure it from the opposite side (where the penis meets the scrotum to the tip) it says it's 5 3/4.

What is my size?

I have been thru 4 dentists in 2 months that have tried to screw me. I have a friend whose father is a retired dentist and another friend who is a hygentist. I am looking for a no BS dentist that will not try and rape my PPO and will be honest with me while also not trying to sell me crap like he's a car salesman.Can you reccomend someone?

3 days ago I woke up and my elbow was sore when i would bend it... later that day I noticed there was some sort of lump inside of it when i would push down. The next morning i woke up and the lump was bigger and a little red bump was showing on the outside of my skin, kind of looks like a mosquito bite but bigger. I figured a spider bit me and thought nothing of it. Later that day there was a big purple circle around the lump and my arm was really sore. Then the next day I noticed it was all swollen and my arm from my elbow down was starting to fall asleep a lot. Theres a lot of juicy type stuff aorund the lump on the inside that i can feel when i move it around. What do you think this is? I figure if it gets worse tomorrow I will go get it looked at but I thought I would get your opinion.

Also I never injured it, I just woke up one morning that way.

I eat glue. I only did it 17 times. It sticks to your gums like your eating bubblegum. Everyday after that people started to call me names like gle head and stick mouth. It isnt very nice.

I eat fairly well, I don't eat much junk food (except a little Haagen Dazs once a month) and I do a lot of walking. The last time I was in a pharmacy, I checked out the over the counter diet pill section, and there are SO MANY out there right now! Have any of these worked for you? I'm 5'2 95 lbs. According to the official food pyramid site I need 1600 calories/day.
Problem is, my family eats way more than 1600 cals/day. I'm trying to firm up thru exercise (NOT lose weight, just get toned) so I can't afford to go over 1600.
Breakfast is 400 calories. Dinner is 1400 (we are Asian: every night each person eats 4 cups of cooked rice=950 calories, plus all the fried curry). I have to eat everything. Because I exercise every day & try to eat only 1600 calories, parents think I'm anorexic if I try to eat less. How can I convince them that I'm just doing what's right for me?

I have to skip lunch at school and exercise like crazy to stay petite because my parents feed me so many extra calories. (I'm not anorexic, guys tell me I'm normal at 95 lbs). It's impossible to get toned/look good in a swimsuit when every day is a struggle to keep from gaining weight. I'm not looking to be skeletal--just normal.

How do I convince parents I am normal/need only 1600 cals/day???

im 13 years old and my parents verbally abuse me. they constantly curse me out, put me down and threaten me to the point that im an emotional wreck.they always mock me and tell me im stupid when im smarter than both of them. my mom suffers from clinical depression and constantly takes it out on me as if its my fault. most of the time i bottle up my emotions until i get a chance to cry until i have no more tears left. recently ive tried to tame my emotions with poetry and it seems to work, a little. most of them are about death, scuicide and manslaughter. i laghed through Saw 3 untill i couldnt any more. i really need help.

One of my College classes, we were assigned to attend 2 A.A meetings. I actually was only able to attend 1 A.A meeting because of the lack of programs in my area.

Anyway! I was just curious to know how you feel about Alcoholics Anonymous? Or the 12 step process? Or how do you feel about Alcoholism being a disese?
