I HAVE THIS FEAR OF BLOOD TESTS! ANYTIME MY PARENTS MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE THE DOCTOR, I ALWAYS GET HER TO CANCELL IT BECAUSE OF MY FEAR. I DO THIS BECAUSE AT EVERY VISIT I ALWAYS HAVE TO TAKE BLOOD TESTS. I'M AFRAID OF BLOOD TESTS BECAUSE NEEDLES HURT. I COULD NEVER LOOK AWAY BECAUSE I'M VERY NERVOUS. ONE TIME I RAN OUT THE EXAM ROOM BECAUSE I SAW A NEEDLE! WHEN THE NURSE FINALLY FOUND ME, SHE TOOK ME BACK TO THE ROOM. IN THE ROOM, THERE WERE 3 NURSES READY TO RESTRAIN ME, 1 HAD TO HOLD ME DOWN, THE OTHER HOLD MY HEAD TO THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AD THE THIRD HAD TO HOLD MY ARM DOWN SO THE NURSE DRAWING BLOOD COULD GET THE TEST DONE. NOW I STILL TRY TO AVOID GOING TO DOCTORS. I'M VERY DESPARATE, WHAT SHOULD I DO??

What do you prefer, a doctor that is distinguished because of its positive attitude and treatment towards patient or a doctor that has a lot of knowledge (that you are sure that he is going to find the diagnosis) but doesn't know how to treat their patient??


The option good, kind doctor, that has a lot of knowledge is not an option. I'm trying to see what is more important, how the doctor treats the patient or how much knowlegde does the doctor have (even thou his social skills are poor).

On chest days I do 3 sets of bench press 3 sets of inclince bench press and 6 sets of flyes with different weights. My pecs are definately getting bigger and stronger. I only take two days off between chest days. Sometimes I only take one day off. I know that it's not good to overwork your muscles, however, I'm seeing gains and my muscles aren't feeling tired. I was wondering if this might be ok or if I still should give more rest. I do not lift much weight, I lift about 80 pounds with dumbells when I bench, but on the fly machine I can do about 180 or 190 for my sets.

My mother has pancreatic cancer which has spread to other parts of her body. I have read that raising the body pH to an alkaline level can cure cancer. But after doing a internet search about this, I have also come across people who claim that this is an unproven theory. Not knowing who to believe, I think it's best to hear testimonies from those who have been cured from stage 4 cancer.

Does anyone know of people who have tried alkaline treatment? Did they get cured? Please tell me all that you know about cancer patients who have been cured.

Since Christmas, I sometimes get this warm feeling in my foot or leg. It's not HOT, just warm. It stays for a few seconds, then goes away. I'm not overweight and i don't eat a lot of junk food. Can ms me missed in a mri in the early stages?
I did an mri 7 months ago of my head and spine both came back normal, i was having major pins and needle sensation througout my body, well my neck mri had 3 minimal disks bulging that went away with treatment, now I have having the same symptoms again, could it be that it was ms and they missed it, i have pins and needle sensation, blurry vision very little, weak and im real scared, going to neuro tomorrow.

Had Gallbladder removed Jan. 2, 2007 and the attacks did not go away. Found out I had stones still in my bile duct & had a ERCP 4 days ago and now having pains. I have a aching pain under my right rib. Sometimes I have severe pains that feel like contractions in the same spot. It takes my breath away when it happens. I called the doctor today and he told me not to come in. He said if I start vomiting to go to the ER. Please help.
