I am 14 years old, 5' 6", female, 122 lbs.
I want to maintain my weight. Is 1445 calories too many calories for me per day?

Thanks!!

The reason I wont eat more than that is because of medical reasons I cannot excersise at the moment, so Im really not burning much during the day.

If you got to your weight of 122 lbs without dieting or over-eating, then that's your natural weight. If this applies to you, meaning that you didn't have to diet, exercise or eat more to get to that weight, then just keep eating the way you normally do and you'll maintain weight. If you're that unsure about it, you can ask your doctor or monitor your weight with any cheap scale that you can find in your local super center (wal-mart) or hardware store. I included a link for a formula that's supposed to calculate the number of calories you need in a day but i don't know how accurate it is. Hope that helped!!!!

No that amount is fine.
Do not eat less than 1100 calories- that will put your body in starvation mode.

There is no way that would be too much for you, especially at your age. Don't starve yourself, just eat healthy and enough to keep you satiated.

Your calorie intake is dependent upon your metabolism and activity level.

no but its better to eat 2000 calories and excercise, so insted of appearing skinny you appear slim(which i think is better)
