My daughter is 12 years old and has not started her menstral cycle yet. She has been shaving her legs since she was 8 and she has dark hair above her upper lip. She also has dark hair in numerous other areas. We've just noticed a couple of dark hairs under her chin. Does this sound like hiritisum or will this calm down after she starts her period. Please help!!!!!

I am thinking of getting about 7-10 of these done to help me jump start my weight loss. Have these worked for you or anyone you know?

She is a beautiful woman and needs 2 plates and her teeth pulled. Her self esteem has bottomed out and her health is suffering, including heart problems. She is in college, raising her kids alone and paying all her bills, but because the dentures are seen as cosmetic she can get no assistance. She can't eat right, is sensitive to cold, has absesses and bleeding. If you can't chew your food and have constant infections it has a physical effect on your health. Why are plates seen as cosmetic when Dr.s relate severe dental problems to heart disease? Where can she find help?

In other words, what keeps you going, what helps you beat procrastination or depression. I see people who get up in the morning and just go. Not sure if they are "programmed" (habit) or if they really have a why (purpose). Tell me about you.

Ok, I want to gain muscle and lose fat.

So, here's my day:
I wake up at 6 AM, and drink a protein shake (23g WHEY protein) with 2% milk (another 8g) and go to school.

A lot of the time, I skip lunch because I'm not very smart and I try to get all my work done (and cheat on the comps lol).

I come home at 3:30 PM, drink a protein shake with WATER and eat an apple, go downstairs, work out with weights (upper-body...I lift until I fatigue my muscles, therefore gaining muscle) and jump on the treadmill for a mile or two, depending on how pumped I am.

I come upstairs, take a shower, and eat dinner at 6 PM..maybe have some dessert and hit the sack at aroun 10 PM...

What ya think? Is this a good plan? I would only do that on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays I would eat lunch and NOT WORK OUT OR DRINK A PROTEIN SHAKE...

Hi, I finally quit smoking after 13 years and many failed attempts. I am thirty right now. While I do understand there will always be some residual damage, I was wondering if there were any supplements, herbals, or anything special I could do to repair the lung damage more quickly. I have a strong family history of cardivascular disease. My father developed heart trouble in his forties and died in his early fifties and I am beginning to realize that I need to start keeping an eye on my own health now.

I have a full-time job and I am in school full-time at night. I am having trouble staying motivated and focused at work because I feel so stressed and overwhelmed. I don't have the option of quitting my job or reducing my working hours. Some people suggest breathing exercises to alleviate stress. Does anyone else have suggestions? Things that work for you?

My dentist filed my supersharp upper canines to look more in harmony with the rest of the teeth (I have braces) and today-a week later-I noticed that one of them is slightly sensitive when I open my mouth and inhale air. I'm wondering if my teeth have been damaged and is there anything I can do about it? My mother is convinced they will eventually decay and need root canals because too much has been filed and teeth should never be filed so now I'm freaking out. I have a few more teeth that can use a little more filing too and now I am scared to consider it. Anyone have any opinions? Thanks in advance. By the way, the teeth look good, I'm not in pain, just slight sensitivity here and there.

The stabbing pains just come on randomly (when I am not holding my breath) and I have to hold my breath until it stops hurting (breathing makes it hurt more). I usually take a few deep breathes afterwards, just to help everything calm down, but I don't like breathing when it is happening.
It is somewhere in my chest area, near the front on the side where my heart is, near my ribs, or just inside from them.
I am only 17, female.

I have this sharp pain that seems to alternate between right and left sides about 10 days before my period starts. I think it might be ovulation. The pain lasts for about 30 minutes and is so sharp that I can hardly breathe or move. I can't stand upright and usually curl up in the fetal position until it subsides. Does anyone else have any problems like this? Could it be that I can tell when I am ovulating?
