i recently broke my right leg. i'm just wondering if theres a good way of going up and down the stairs with crutches other than sitting on the stairs and going from there because i'm hoping to go back to school on tuesday, and ill need to have something figured out by then. thanks in advance :)

okay, today i just started getting this really bad pain in my neck, its hard to explain excatly where so i just found a random pic of a celebrity and just circled the spot where it hurts on my neck.

it kinda hurts when i swallow, the pain in that spot is horrible, seriously, it hurts sooooooo much i dont know what it could be :S

i am a competitive swimmer and train very often, but unfortunately when we do really hard sets which require you to swim fast for a longer distance i often get a pain in either my neck or heart area. It feels like there is ahole in my heart or neck and every time i breathe in there is a sharp pain. this means i have to slow right down and breathe to the other side which is more uncomfortable for me.


does anyone have any advice or is a doctor and could help/advise me ?

its beginning to become very annoying and has occured when i was racing before which was very annoying and painful !!

please help me.

3 days ago i was given info that my father may have a condition in which he may die. now yesterday i talked to a friend of mine whos a doctor and he said mostlikely all my father will have to do is take saprin to thin his blood and he will be ok.

BUT!

when i got the nesw about my father, an hour after the news i started thinking about what i will do with his stuff! now about an houre after that i said to my self "dude what the F are you thinking!"

why would my mind tgo to some thing so seffish and negativeas that? i know i am a cold person but i did not think i was that cold!

what the F is wrong with me!

When I first applied for DLA was in 1992, I was awarded the lower rate.Then an appeal was allowed in 1993 and I was awarded MRC and HRB for life, then in 02 it changed to Indefinatly. Can I expect a medical examination at some point or will it be just another form to fill in. Thanks for your help

I heard that male pattern baldness is caused by too much testosterone(male hormone). Also I heard that gays don't have enough testosterone but have more of estrogen(female hormone) which makes them get their sexual preference. Does it mean that bald headed gays don't exist? If I am right, does it mean if a bald headed male inject himself with some estrogen hormone, then he'll grow more hair and get rid of his baldness?

Tired... always feeling tired and energyless. Especially in the weekends I can sleep the whole two days.

The last time I visited my psychiatrist she said it was likely to be a combination of side effects from taking prozac and stress in my life. Since then I have had a blood test -and would be called if something was wrong -I haven't been called.

Does having normal blood values mean there's nothing more to do? I suggested getting a sleep test -that I may have sleep apnea. But she said that this was unlikely and mostly people with a thick neck have this.

Basically I am left feeling very tired and energyless. I have tried different medications: for years on paxil/seroxat and tried effexor too.

I guess if my doctor can't help me it's time now to accept being tired all the time?

(I notice also that I get really exhausted quickly from shorts amount of exercise ...like pufing after going up one flight of stairs.)

My lower body depresses me. I play hockey 6 times a week (goalie) and go to the gym inbetween. But I still hate my lower body. What's the best way to get those sexy calf muscles, sleek thighs and a perky bum?

At the moment I do the elipitical, bike, treadmill, but can't do things like squats or lunges because of bad knees.

Any suggestions?

I have fine hair, and there is this shampoo called Nioxin that is supposed to help. Anyway my friend said he used it and it works great. It is 33.8 oz, so it is a big bottle, but gees, I walked into the salon and asked if they had it, the lady said yes and got me the bottle, and I said ok I will take it, and she said $45 dollars and I almost passed out! How much do you spend for shampoo?? Am I nuts for buying this or do you think it is worth if if it helps my hair become thicker??

I just had my baby in November, and started back on "the pill" (Ortho-Tri Cyclen Lo) in January I am on the placebo pills (due to get my period) and my face broke out really bad. Will this adjust once I am on the pills for a while? Or will this happen every month?

The patient is not having jaundice, has completed her two cycles of chemotherapy with Gemcitebine(1.4) and Capecitabine (2500 mg/day), is able to eat properly and healthy bowel movements. No vomiting but feels nausea once in a while. Fever comes for 5-6 hours a day and the max temperature is 102 F. Pain in the back and sides of ribs. Feels better for 24 hours after taking a single dose of Diclofenac-75 mg (brand name- Voveron). Not bed ridden, but becoming weak. Still doing her half hour walks twice a day. Voice has become too weak to be heard over phone. Radiotherapy and surgery scheduled in the coming week. Please help.
