My dentist says I have to go to the peridontist and have surgery done on my gums on 2 teeth because I have a pocket over a crown that measures a 6. He says I have started to have some bone loss and I need to have this done. Is it really, really painful? Your experience?

My 4 month old daughter was diagnosed with an infected area on her toe. The doctor said to come back to see him (we had to bring her to the ER last night, so it's a $50 co-pay each visit) if we saw her getting worse or noticed a red line going up her foot and leg. When I was getting her ready for bed tonight, I swear I could see a really faint pink line going from her toe up the front of her foot; HOWEVER I'm totally paranoid now, so maybe I'm just looking too hard to see things. If she gets blood poisoning and a red line appears, is it usually pretty obvious?

Ok. I had an appendectomy last month around the 7th. Lately the day I get my period seemes to get later and later (19th, 23rd, 25th, 30th and finally the 1st in January) SO I expected to get it around the 1st this month. However, its now the 18th and no period. I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant so could my surgery have effected my cycle? Oh btw the appendectomy was the kind where they use the tiny cameras and make 3 little incisions. I think its called laparoscopic? Serious answers would be appreciated : )

i have acne since i was 11 and i am going on 16 this year and i still have acne. i,ve tried everything i have evn went to the dermatolist and got treatments that didnt work. i have really sensitive skin but not bad but alot of acne. i am so white that u can really notice my acne. i just recieved proactive for the 2nd time!! and when i used it the first night it really work then comes the second night, still the same and now my face has really not been improving. when ive used clinique it worked the same way. what should i do. everybody tells me to use neutrogena but ive already used everything. u name it i used it. desperate need. i miss my soft feeling skin.

I'm 5.3 right now age 13 I'm taller than my mom, who is 5.1 and a half... My shoe size is 10. So if I'm 5.3 with the shoe size ow 10 how tall will I be? Will I be tall? My mom says I havn't yet hit my growth sprout... So how tall do you think I'm going to be when I'm an adult?

I am only a size 3 but I have enough belly fat to make me look like I am 3-4 months pregnant. I wear low rise jeans so the fat is only in the belly. Crunches and sit-ups DON'T help at all. I can't take any of the belly fat burners they sell over the counter, because they mess with my heart. I have heard that studies show women with belly fat have a higher risk of heart disease. My brother died at 29 of a massive heart attack. Heart disease already runs in the family. I want to lower my risk. HELP!!! I am skinny everywhere except my belly.
