I never seem to feel hungry. The doctors I have seen dont seem to be worried despite me losing a fair bit of weight. I am allowed to eat whatever I wish but am driving my husband crazy as whenever he asks what I want to eat the answer is always the same... 'Im not hungry, Ill eat whatever you do'
he does all the cooking since I have been unwell.
Has anybody else been in the same situation and how did you manage to get your appetite back?

Hi,
My grandma was admitted today to a hospital and they believe it is a blood clot in her brain. From a CT scan, they noticed a blood clot in a part of her brain and this was due to a car accident a couple months ago. She was brought in unconcious and i went in to talk to her with my mom and brother, yet she didnt recognize any of us :( ! She could somewhat respond to what we said, yet she hallucinated the whole time. She thought she was eating soup with a spoon and kept asking for choclate to us. Randomly, she would mention past memories as if she was still living them. When the doctors asked her what year it was she said 1936. BAsically, she doesnt know where she is, what year it is, cant recognize us, its like she is on some redic drug and in a dream world. What is wrong with her? Is there any hope? I am so stressed out and depressed about this : (.

What are the chances of her living thru this?
Will she get her mind back?
I feel so helpless. Thanks

I bleed a little for a few days... (does that count for a period cause it was more like a little blood here and there?)
then I forgot to take the rest for a week or two and now I'm finishing the rest (there was only 3 left before the blank ones)
when should be my next period ?

I'm a 23 year old male. I've gone to my primary physician over 5 times in the past 6 months about this problem, but I am ignored and told it's "stress" every time...it's not. The problem:

I get random, pulsating spasms on my temples...it's always one side or the other, NEVER both. It's right above my ear, where I can feel the temporal artery. The spasms do not keep time with my pulse...the timing is random, but once it starts, it usually lasts a few hours...pulsating at least once a minute, sometimes 20 times in a minute, sometimes once. If you put your hand over my temple, it feels like if my temple was pregnant...it's an outward kicking sensation on your hand.

When I'm sleeping and it starts, you can actually hear it hitting the pillow, which pretty much means I can't sleep on that side.

It rarely comes with any pain, and a CT scan said I have nothing, but I know something is wrong, it can't be normal to have this on a daily basis for a whole year.

I am not bulemic nor anorexic. My weight is with in normal range.
After eating a meal (not over eating) I feel really ill and tired - even if eaten slowly.
It affects me the next day as well my body tingles, and I have a headache and feel nauseous.
Sometimes I feel really thirsty but drinking anything even water doesnt seem to quench my thirst.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated - thanks

I have a 5 month old kitten and there is something wrong with his left eye. I dont know if its just an irritation or an infection, but he can't open up his eye. 5 minutes ago i posted a question about how excess sodium may harm a human, most answers included increase in blood pressure. but I believed that sodium is an ion therefore it would be much easier for the body to excrete this through the urine, so does that mean that sodium is not excreted through urine, or too much water is needed to excrete all of the sodium or if all of the urine is excreted, then why does it still have these effects on the body?
