You can't control your hormones most of the time, even if they are out of wack, it will take you taking meds to correct the problem.
Here are some facts about hormones:

Endocrine System
• The endocrine system is a regulatory system that coordinates and integrates many
body processes by releasing chemical messengers called hormones.
• Hormones are specialized substances that function as biological regulators, or an
internal system of checks and balances.
• Hormones are transmitted throughout the body by traveling through the bloodstream.
• The thyroid gland is one of the largest of the endocrine organs.
• The function of the thyroid gland is to take iodine (found in many foods) and
convert it into important hormones used by every cell in the body for regulation of metabolism.
• Metabolism is the rate at which the body burns calories in order to sustain life.
• The thyroid gland is under the control of the pituitary gland, a small gland the size
of a peanut at the base of the brain. When the level of thyroid hormones drops too
low, the pituitary gland produces a special hormone that stimulates the thyroid gland to produce more hormones.
• The pituitary gland is regulated by another gland, known as the hypothalamus.
The hypothalamus is part of the brain that tells the pituitary gland to stimulate the thyroid gland.

Reproductive System
• Human reproduction includes the integrated action of hormones, the nervous system, and the reproductive system.
• Gonads are sex organs that produce gametes. Male gonads are the testes, which produce sperm and male sex hormones. Female gonads are the ovaries, which produce eggs (ova) and female sex hormones.

Hormones are important to every part of our bodies. Without them you would be dead.

I take hormonal birth control pills to control mood swings associated with my menstrual cycle. I find that I still get mood swings, but it's more on the level of a small wave instead of a tsunami. If you too are suffering from PMS, you can try things like diet, exercise, avoiding certain things like caffiene and even antidepressant medication or hormonal birth control.

Now, if you're talking about your hormones in relation to your sex drive, seek counselling. Controlling your impulses is all psychological.

Gee i really don't think you do, and yes you are right, will power is not always the answer. I guess you would have to have yourself locked up, so you could not do anything, i really don't have much of an answer for this cause i really do not think you can get full total control over your Hormones.

true i don't think that guys ever do, but i don't feel women do neither, they can have control for 40 yrs then one day say hell to this i have missed to much. so the guys don't know it all up there.

the only way you can control your hormones is to offset them with other hormones(but datll cause physical change) so embrace your hormones, they make ur chest not as flat as your back.
