My question is...I get bacterial vaginosis every month right before my period and it's killing me...i went to the doctor...got flagyl...but it came back the next month before my period...the doctor said that it has something to do with my ph balance right before my monthly...I wanna know if there is something I could do to keep my ph balance normal so i can stop getting this annoying thing.

my dermatologist told me my condition was unusual for a White person to have this condition and he asked me if I had Indian heritage in my family background. ( and may I add I am very proud of) Any way he explained the condition only appeared in young adulthood and will last my lifetime. The condition is an allergy to the sun. I love the sun and like to tan just a little but he has advised me to wear protection in the sun and not more tanning beds. This is called Chronic Inflammation under the skin. Can someone help with tips on what to do to help this disease?

i have had many simptoms of ms balance memory tiredness weakness stiffness numbness speech , my doctor even said many of my symptoms were consistant with a demylenating desease , i had an mri there was one leasion , my doctor said he thought it looked like a stroke the radioligest said it looked like an arachniod cyst .either of them agree with the other . my spinal tap how ever was negitive . so i wanted to know if it is possible that ms may just not have been detected at that time

I started out at 5 foot 4 and 106 pounds and in great shape i instructed aroebics classes. I have had 2 boys one 4 and one 7 months. I gained about 60 pounds with my first pregnancy and 10 more with divorce. I only lost 21 after pregnancy And with every other day exercise and a weightloss plan from my doctor about 5 more pounds over a year and a half. Not cool at all. I tried hydroxycut and xenadrine and they made me shaky and sick. Ihave remarried and had another boy and at my 6 week check up was 4 pounds lighter than before pregnancy number 2. He is 7 months and has weaned himself from breast to formula ina cup and I am desperate to start losing weight for many reasons. Health, Husband who is very understanding and loves me as I am but has never seen the me I want. I know your body goes through many permanent changes after pregnancy but there has to be something I can do. I am not worried about weighing 106 again I am a mommy. But I am overweight. Any weight loss suggestions?

My daughter needs 3 root canals. Is this normal? We are very concerned to get this work done to her at this age. She will be put under anesthetic. She also has a tiny piece of flesh in between her top front teeth and her gum. We have been told that she may need braces later on. Why not just take it out? Thanks for any info!!!

I had an infected wound from a cyst removal. The doctor cauterized this area with silver nitrate and it left a 1/8" deep hole where he removed the infection. I do have an appointment in a month for him to look at the area to see how it is healing, but I was just wondering if anybody knew how long it would take for the 1/8" wound to close on its own? Thanks.

I work in the mental health field and I have been asked to do a workshop with teenagers on mental illness and discrimination . Has anyone any ideas on some role play situations I can do to get our message across in a way which will raise awareness about mental illness and the negative effect discrimination can have on people getting help in the first place or recovering - without putting negative ideas in their heads. I have lots of information to give but I think (I maybe wrong cos teaching young people is not my forte) if they get involved in role play, this will have a far bigger impact.

When I sleep and sometimes, when I am not paying attention, while I am awake I grind my teeth. It is a bad habit that I have no control over. When I wake up in the morning my jaw hurts from biting down so hard. What causes this and how can I stop it? I have been told that I should try a mouth guard while I sleep, but I can't sleep with a mouth guard. I think this bad habit started while I was in the navy as a result of stress, but I don't know. I just want to be able to stop. can someone help?

I brought my teenage daughter to the doctor because she had a painful swollen gland on one side of her neck and a sore throat. I just found a note she wrote to a friend that said two days before the onset of the symptoms she had snuck out in the middle of the night and was 'kickin it' with him. I'm waiting for a call back from the doctor. The internet research I've done shows confilciting info.
